Again name another CEO that has his own signiture Nike and Jordan sneakers?

50 Cent's clothing line went outta business

every Artist on G Unit records pretty much flopped

While every Artist to come out on Shady records has always sold Platinum or more

8 Mile made more than 50 Cent's movies which have gone straight to DVD

Like i said Eminem is 50 Cent's boss 50 works for Eminem he is under contract to Eminem

Has 50 ever headlined a Tour that sold out around the world like Anger managment? no

And Eminem has made the Forbes list every year not the top but he always made the list

Shadyteam you do realize those were a limited edition one time only shoe? The number of those they made and sold are in the hundreds

50 Cent has more Money than Eminem... Get over urself already....

Never said he didn't have more money i just said Eminem's ventures have always been succesful while 50 Cent record label flopped and his Artists sold poorly, his clothing went outta business, his movies flopped, his own sales declined etc

I said Eminem gets paid everytime 50 Cent got paid from his business ventures

Last but not least 50 Cent works for Eminem

With that being said, 50 net worth is about triple what eminems is. This is according to forbes. While eminem was blessed to have major success in music, outside of it he wasnt even worth a mention. This once again proves that the real money is outside being confinded to a rapper. The number one selling rapper of all time is not even top ten when it comes to wealth. Shits crazy....

No one that is worth a 100 million is a failure. Em goes at his business differently, his clothing line was more like an endorsement deal. 50 did the same type of deal thru Ecko, but then 50 bought out that contract so he now owns G -Unit clothing......even though it fell off.

Jay-z went the Russell Simmons route, he sold his stake in Rocawear but gets a salary with bonuses depending on the sales. 50s deal had more potential than Jay-z way, but Jayz has no money at risk. Neither does Em.

there will never be a billionaire rapper that money will be gone by the third generation.

naw I think it can happen, just not off music alone. like jay doing the corporate thing(even though this is music related) getting endorsement a la sports starts...that and investing like 50 cent.....

on that note ima have to nominate 50 cent.

i jsut cant see any of them becoming billionaires. its not impossible to go broke even if you have hundreds of millions look at tyson and mc hammer. that shyt didnt even last them a lifetime.

Then what are these so call other business then that is generating that type of revenue, i'll wait? Don't say BBTV which is basically a website, or is it No Limit/P Miller gear, etc. Show me some facts and a direct source, not no shit from 10 years ago.

BBTV is a tv network retard which means it will be on cable

Not everyone is drinking champagne, but everyone is drinking vodka. :o) So Diddy surpasses Jay in the beverages. But I think Jay still have hunger. And he wants to be jew-type-of-rich (if I can put it into words like that), he wants to be wealthy, partying in France, hanging Picasso on his wall and buying islands type of rich, for example.

Also he is more grown-up and intelligent as a person (of what I've seen in his interviews and what I've heard from his songs). He have a full perspective of the world (mostly of the corporate and financial world, I think), and he still thinks that he hasn't seen enough, hasn't learn enough. I think that hunger would make him the first one.

It might be Jay z, he is well respected by other millionaires and some billionaires. He makes very good investments, I wouldn't count out Diddy or 50 either. All 3 are good in their respective areas. 50 is a great promoter, Jay makes very solid investments, and Diddy picks good products to attach his name to

First of all Jay-Z and Diddy are way richer then that particularly because where talking about how much there worth.

Diddy and Jay-Z would be around the 700 million + mark.

JAy-Z being the richer out of the 2.

next would be Will smith.

I have no doubt Diddy, JAy-Z and Will SMith will be the only hip hop billionaires within the next 5 - 10 years.

remember will smith owns alot of businesses and his whole family is in the entertainment business. so its only a matter of time.

NOW FOR THE LIES.

BIRDMAN ain't worth that much. maybe in his dreams.

and why would you have lil wayne at 80 million? first he's not worth that much. and 2nd there are other's in the hip hop community who are worth more.

EMinem is worth over 100 million dollars. and dr dre is worth more then 200 million dollars.

LL Cool J would be worth more then 100 million dollars.

but like i said JAy-Z, Diddy and Will Smith will all be billionaire's.

and let's not forget Jay-Z and Beyonce are already almost a billionaire couple. The facts say within a year or two they will be a billionaire couple.

Neither one on that list is gonna make it to a billion.

The great white Jewish brothers are gonna make sure of that.

If anyone was lucky enough to do it, it'd be someone who isn't making money solely off music - i.e. Jay-Z/Will Smith/50 Cent.

Personally, I think Jay and Will are the most likely to reach a billion. Jay's getting caasg from various ventures (big and small): Roc Nation (360 management, publishing and record company), touring, Buffalo Burgers, NY Nets, 'Decoded' sales, endorsements, line of headphones, being featured in magazines, 40/40 club, Carol's Daughter beauty line, Greenwich Village Bistro etc, etc. And those are just the investments he's made public. He's likely to have more small investments.

Will also has the potential to be worth a billion. He's more often than not making a ton of his own movies and he even produces sometimes - where a lot potentially can be made.. His company Overbrook probably generates a lot of revenue off his and his son's movies. His daugther has hit it big with her single 'Whip My Hair', and seeing as she's listed as his employee, that's also bringing in some cake. He could easily tour around the world and make an easy 5-10 million. He's got new TV shows lined up and he'll still be getting money from the Fresh Prince. Furthermore, he's also likely to have investments that he's kept private. If he gets back to a movie every year or two, he could be a billionaire (or close) within the next 5-10 years.

Birdman (or 'Baby') will have a lot of money but most of it will be from record sales from CM/YM, thus far. He's already been exposed about his "oil investment"' claims - no one in the industry have heard of the 'Bronald' oil company. He likes to talk like he's in the 400mil+ region but he's obviously delusional. Also, like someone pointed out he's in partnership with his brother, Slim, so you need to halve pretty much everything the dude is says he's earned.

Verdict: he won't be a billionaire.

I can't believe some of you are counting Diddy out. I see Diddy becoming a billionaire first off the fact that he's not scared to take risks. The shit Jay's invested in Diddy already did it, with great results. Restaurants, liquor, management, not to mention Diddy also does his acting thing. Jay has a lot of investments but that doesn't mean they will all be successful.
