Drake responded to meek bc it gained traction amongst fans and other artists constantly being asked about it in interviews. And a lot of the reason it gained all that traction (aside from ghostwriting being a hip hop sin) is Meek is wayyy more relevant today than Joe is.

Meek never recorded a diss track but he changed a lot of peoples views on drake forever where budden spit some tough bars that will soon be forgotten.

Its really just that no one gives a shit cant be more simple than that.

King this is what I've always said about Drake and his fans. Don't call my man a dope rapper and then make excuses when he doesn't battle a superior one. That's wack man.
