@ocelot I was wrong.Tony did get killed
I did some research and from previous clues in the season it's now evident that Tony got killed by the guy in the Members only jacket right in front of his family
The proof is that the 1st ep of the season was called members Only and the guy in that ep killed another dude sitting w/ family in a restaurant
later on in the season Silvio was sitting in restaurant and the dude he was eating w/ got his brains blew out right at the table while Silvio was still in mid sentence
Then there was a convo w/ dude who married Tony's sister about how you never see death coming.
Like an ep before the finale they flashbacked to that convo again
Also the scene before Tony goes to eat,the NY mob boss is killed in front of his family and a car runs over his face.Why wouldn't NY want to get even.it was a disrespectful way to go.Why would the beef end with him?
So when Tone looks up,He's watching the shooter about to shoot him and it fades to black from Tony's perspective
I always thought it just ended ,but when James Gandolfini died they said something like 'Now the man who played Tony Soprano is dead like his character"
The ppl who make it came out yrs later and confirmed Tony died.It makes sense once I rewatched the last season
I still think it was kind of weak,but I understand it better now
