After a couple I can say that this album is exactly what I expected. It flows...there are really no filler tracks. Swimming pools is my favorite track. Followed by Bitch don't kill my vibe

the lady gaga version of bitch don't kill my vibe. i guess this was the track the gaga feature that was rumored to be on the album, but didn't make it. im not a gaga fan at all, but this rocks. it wouldn't have flowed with the album tho..

Naw, it was a track called partynauseus or something like that... We didn't know about her version of Bitch, Don't Kill My Vibe till after the album came out. I prefer the album version tho

Last couple of days i've been really gettin' into this album.

What i really love 'bout this album, it's like a journey.

Probably sounds a bit corny but fuck it.

I have to take long trips by bus. I just put on gkmc, front to back and when i listen to it, i get into my little zone.

I can't keep my head still and i'm sure a lot of people wondered what was wrong with me...

Nothing, just listening to Good Kid M.A.A.D. City.

When i listen to "the art of peer pressure", i feel like i'm really in the story or that i know these dudes in real life.

The beat, the storytelling, the atmosphere, everything matches perfectly.

(My favorite tracks are; Money Trees, Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe and The Art Of Peer Pressure.)

He also switches his style up every track, his voice, his flow.

The versatility of the tracks is one of the things that makes this album so great.

This is what an hip hop album should be like and he really raised the bar for modern day rappers.

Greetings, Ya Bish...

GKMC is a really good album. I don't think it's as good as Section.80, but it's dope. Is it just me or did the sequencing of the tracks seem a bit off to y'all?

the first couple of tracks are out of order ....in regards to the story ..... a few of the skits can be moved around as well ..... he said he wanted to make it like a quentin tarantino movie in the sense that it wasn't all the way linear ...

the source mic system dont mean shit like it use too...iremember when zino had tha source he gave his album 5 mics! what a fuckin joke

Cosign.. Naked Truth by Lil Kim got 5 Mics, while The Minstrel Show originally got 4.5 Mics, but Benzino told his staff to drop half of a mic from the initial rating.. smh..

Minstrel Show didnt deserve 5 mics tho

Noo.. it originally got 4.5 Mics, then it was dropped to 4.. while The Naked Truth got 5 Mics (which I don't think deserved 5 Mics).. that's the point I was tryna make..
