Wait did that nigga Drake just brag about walking in with a chick that makes triple what he makes on digital dash after just killing Meek for being with a more popular chick then him??? Self ether....

The comparison isn't linear.

Perception-wise, It's the difference between a guy simping a more popular, well off chick because he needs the exposure /cash

VS

A guy who has more than ample popularity/ money and being self assured enough to be with an independent women; doing even better than he is.

you niggas say anything to defend captain beige is the same fuckin situation two niggas fucking bitches higher than them

like how the fuck do you figure meek simping? you seen the contract?

The only way that shit makes sense to come out drake mouth is that he fired q miller and his new ghost writer didn't listen to the the diss tracks

Prolly not real.

Look at how easy it is to generate hype.

Just make a cover and post it to the internets and bam. Free promotion for everybody.

egg-to-face-o.gif

I see nothing wrong with what I said.

When this album/tape was originally announced, it was on a Thursday and expected to come out that next day, which it didn't....like I said it wouldn't.

Yeah. Your argument is null in void, my nigga. Your original argument had nothing to do with when the project would be released, and everything to do with whether or not the project was real.

Go head and cop those deuces, fammo.

on the contraire.

There's no logic in a pump fake of this magnitude. Neither artist needs publicity just cuz. Both have established themselves as two of the most popular rappers we have at the moment and neither have any projects coming out that's right around the corner.

And even if they did, they still wouldn't need some look like they're just getting started. People are still on their wave from the Meek situation and DS2 dropping.

I'm not a super fan of either. I just don't like people saying illogical things and passing them off as words of omnipotence. It's grating to me.

lol aight homie.

i'll circle back into this thread tonite at midnight and we'll talk about this.

So here we are. Midnight on 9/12 east & no Future & Drake* mixtape in sight.

i knew that shit wasnt going to drop LAST week like everyone said it was.

i suggested that people consider the source (twitter). Am i surprised that they actually made something? yes. Because history shows that it almost NEVER happens.

If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late did 541K sales plus streaming back in February, and now Drake’s collaborative project with Future is expected to do 500K, according to projections from Hits Daily Double.

The last time two artists of Drake and Future’s stature got together on a collaborative project it was Kanye West and Jay Z’s 2011 effort Watch The Throne.

That album did 436 K first week.

Drizzy and Mr. Hendrix are expected to beat that, even though it’s much harder to sell anything in 2015, their figures are from a short five day week, and so far WATTBA is only available on iTunes.

Impressive, indeed.

This shit is background music when you're chillin at that hood ass sports bar with the homies .....you know that hood ass sports bar .... the one with the big screen TV's but them shits ain't flat screens

this is the shit you hear coming outta cars of cats parking lot pimping in front of the club that has the $25 cover and strict dress code.

This that shit you hear rattling out of the hooptie with the ass system, 2 in the morning at the gas station

This that shit you hear in that strip club with no name on the building, no stage, and the baddest bitch in there has the least visible c-section scare

This that shit you hear coming from the mixtape you copped off the street because it sounded dope at the time but now you realize that you wasn't listening at all cause you was busy shouting at shorty with the phatty across the street .

This that shit you hear coming from the apt next door to the bad bitch you just met last night and she invited you to the crib without hesitation ..... after driving all that way now you get a feeling from the looks of things, this shit might be a set up

All in all, I can't get with this new sound .....I'm old school ..... I'm not saying it's all wack but this shit all blurs together way to easily ....to the point where I can't tell who is who ..... I be thinking there's two people on the track, one rapper and one singer ..... turns out that's one person ....then I find out there was four rappers ....smh

There's some joints I like, but not enough to remember who made it lol

This that new generation microwave rap ..... I'm use to grandma over that stove and oven all day type hip-hop

I bet they spent more time getting paper work straight then they did in the studio ....that's if this was done in a studio ..... could've been a tour bus with a laptop and microphone

I enjoyed the memes more than this ( how about somebody put all the memes from this mixtape in one thread .....I'm sure there will be of goats as reward)

I think I know how @ 5 grand be feeling

/rant

its ok...

stand out tracks to me are Live from the Gutter and Scholarships

but its decent. Still think Black Dollar is better

Drake may just be a genius at this. He wants fans like me and you but he will also take the ignorant ones who don't really listen to what they're listening to. Hittin' you from every angle.
