Since there are more white people in America it shouldn't come as a shock that more of them are on welfare due to how large a disparity there is between them and minorities.

I am not making light at what the guy went through. All I am saying is he went through things a lot of the other folks went through but when they tell there story it isn't as compelling to the buying demographic.
Perfect example is the movie "The Blindside" If you don't know the movie it is about a black guy who is homeless n high school but gets brought in by this white family and he eventually makes it to the NFL. This movie and the guys story was such a big hit and did great in the box offices.
There are many pro sports people that went through stories just like that or ten times crazier and did for there self and didn't get help from rich white people but it was never celebrated like his story. This guy is a solid pro so far but you had guys that became Hall of famers and went through worse shit than him. He got love because it was a feel good story about a rich white person helping a poor black kid. In the movie which was supposed to be about the black kids life, he barely fucking talked!! LOL

Look up 3rd Base and look up the Beastie Boys catalog and tell me who does Em come closer too as far as music wise? Of course he is down with black folks so was the Beasties. LOL. Em is smart in the sense that his first singles he put out form his first few albums where directed right at the demographic I'm talking about. Slim Shady LP The first single was "My name is" The Marshall Mathers LP the first single was "The real Slim Shady" and The Eminem Show the first single was "Without me". All corny goof ball singles to catch that certain demographic I've been talking about. Recovery is the only album he didn't do that shit because he had a built in fan base that would buy any and everything he put out.
