Highlights From Drake's "Take Care" Thank You's

Drake's Take Care doesn't drop until tomorrow, but judging by the reactions to the early leak, it's already a success. Over the past couple of years, Drizzy has earned an incredible amount of support from fans, industry insiders, and people he considers friends. In his liner notes to the album, Drake expresses his appreciation for all the support with a long list of thank you's and shout outs. You can view the whole image courtesy of All Things Fresh. Here are some highlights:

His city:

"Let me begin by thanking Toronto. I was lucky to be given the time to create an album in the city that shaped me."

His mom:

"To my mom, I am so happy to see you as this new healthy woman. You look even more beautiful when you smile, so keeping you happy will always be the mission."

Uncle Steve:

"To my Uncle Steve, firstly thank you for throwing that little barbeque for me over the summer. It may have only been 6 of us there but it meant the world to me. I hope you hear the words in Look What You’ve Done and you truly understand what you brought to my life…this would have been impossible without you."

Noah "40" Shebib:

"To my brother 40, every single time we embark on these journeys together in the back of my mind I wonder if one of us will run out of ideas forcing us to just call it a day and say “hey man great run”… that never happens. You are the most talented, hard working, creative individual I have ever met. Go spend 2 weeks on an island or something… and send Teddy somewhere too. You deserve it."

"To 40, I’ve said it all but I will say it again you are the true leader of this whole thing…without you there is no Drake at all."

His business manager:

"To my business manager David Bolno, thank you for pulling my life together for me and putting me in a position where I can now begin to build my empire. Also, thanks for bearing such a striking resemblance to Ben Affleck…that always comforts me."

Lil Wayne, Birdman, and Nicki MInaj:

"Weezy and Stunna you already know what it is...I’m here for life. Nicki Minaj I’m so proud of you…I love you so funckin much."

Rick Ross:

"Rozay you know you’re my brother and one of my favorite people to make music with. Everything we do is something they love and I hope there’s many more to come…YOLO."

Kendrick Lamar:

"Kendrick Lamar, thank you for being so honest in your music and bringing a special piece to the album and coming on tour and just being one of the kindest realest people I’ve ever met."

Bun B, Andre 3000, Just Blaze, and Stevie Wonder:

"Bun B, thank you for being a King. Andre 3000 that song was something I dreamed about for a long time…thank you. RIP Static Major and thank you to Avonti for making that incredible piece happen for us…a little old school playa never hurt. Just Blaze, thanks for letting me come through that night and playing me the perfect beat. Stevie Wonder, thank you for being everything that you are and sharing your wisdom, talent, and jokes with me throughout the creation of this album."

The Chinese food guy, the sandwich guy:

"Thanks to Tremendous Chinese Food and the guy across the parking lot that makes the steak sandwiches for us once in a while…you are a good sandwich maker."

Everyone else:

"I appreciate you all and I shall end with this…

DO YOU LOVE ME?
OR DO YOU NOT?
YOU TOLD ME ONCE
BUT I FORGOT
I ASKED MY FRIENDS
THEY SAID YOU DO
BUT THEY’RE ALL HIGH
I HOPE IT’S TRUE
TAKE CARE."

will it be a FAILURE if TC sells less than TML?

not 1st week

total sales

Eh, I doubt it's gonna sell as much as TML. As far as leaks go, Take Care gotta be the most public leak I've ever seen. Even niggas who ain't hip to the internet got this album. That shit was trending on twitter. Even braindead hoodrats on Facebook was talking about "Wat da fuqq is dat nigga talkin abt @ da end of marvins room?" last week.
