Take care >>>NWTS. Pound cake is the hardest track on the album. This album is to emo and mellow for me. I'll listen to it with a female but that's about it. And a lot of the tracks sound the same. But it's a decent album for quality music just not rap music. 6.5-10

I listened to it 3x str8 objectively to let it sink in n not jump to any conclusions or presumptions. Honestly I thought it could've been better but it's not a bad album. Lyrics n content wise this might as well been his first cuz he talking so much about his past n b4 he became an international star. The production is great just like all his projects. He's a good songwriter 2 especially with the switching n meshing of the singing/rapping it always seems right on time. But he's a 2 trick pony I feel like he's been singing the same songs for 4 yrs with different beats n titles. He's talented but this like his last leaves me thinking something is missing or lacking. I'm not exactly a big fan but I don't dislike drake at all so I'm not bias but this is just me voicing my own opinion.

difference with the new cats is there is a feeling that Drake, Wale have already dropped their best albums. Cole and Kendrick are in a group that most fans believe have their best albums ahead of them.

Giving this album another good listen then going back and listening to his other work just keeps reminding me how much of a GREAT album he could put together if he just kept it a rap album or at least like 90% shit he'd probably have a easy classic.
