Drake created all of this buzz from a quick strike mix tape joint. Niggas weren't even checking for miss America and that other forgettable single from j cole. Guap is in neutral so is poetic justice and rip to the club. Rick Ross is In protection program. ATL too busy beefing with each other to run rap. Same thing goes for New York. Wayne made the transition from rap king to rap god years ago. Face It. Drake is the best MC in hip hop right now. Nobody fucking with him talent wise. This joint is drake placing the crown, that same crown that Jay Z ONCE had (refer to drake lyrics) on his head. I like this joint because its hard, aggressive and fresh. Reminds me of a mix show exclusive in the 90s. Drake just clapped up everybody in hip hop very wrecklessly this morning and now this thread is trying to make sense of the murder scene. Your favorite rapper got bodied this morning

Well I hate to rain on drake's Insomniac can't go to sleep at 5 am verse he just dropped but I guess he's is salty about that MTV list. He might as well called it, "It's 5 am and I'm Mad MTV didn't have me at #1 " lol. Why is he always feeling he has something to prove? even on the "Started from the Bottom" track. With all that said. Beat was tough. And Yes Drake Flow has settled in and I think he's found himself as an emcee. Honestly what I took from the verse was, "I'm hot on the charts, I'm Rich, I have the most #1 rap singles, I'm on all the features, I'm the Best, F*ck MTV list, F*ck you dudes that don't have an album out, etc, etc, etc" it was basically a Rant cause he's obviously not happy he came in at #5 on that MTV list. I leave this post with a NaS quote and it applies to Drake. Don't let this success go to your head, plenty of Emcees had a hot start in Hip Hop History:
