I'm assuming he's tryna make this album "darker" or "harder" from the sound of what's been dropped so far...But I think he should try going back to singing in lower octaves...I'm not worried bout the overall quality of the album yet though, this just don't seem all the way up to par for a Drake single...

yeah signing to ymcmb has not done anything for drakes career cause lets be honest even if he was indy or signed with another label he still would be featured in songs with the superfriends by default. and on a label where more than half of the artists never get a release date you can't say that same label was responsible for drakes success.

Drake's name and buzz grew GREATLY because he affiliated himself with Wayne around the time Wayne's popularity was peaking.... than he signed and the rest was history.
