For real, I just got done watching this nigga's story on Behind the Music. Shit damn near had me in tears how he's in rehab and shit. If X came back to the rap game, would you support his music? Or has his time come and gone?

I've been watching alot of video and interviews on DMX and I don't think he wants to come back to the industry!

The media have been trying since I don't know when to deface his career and his life!

At first I thought that he was going crazy, but after watching those youtube videos, I understand!

Ehhh I dont know if he still has it in him. I own all of his first 5 albums with the last purchase being Grand Champ and it was cool but its been downright off the cliff since then

I supported him in the past, present and whatever the future holds. dude is a legend. and even if he hangs it up or drops a few verses here and there, his choice, and still have my support. right now just wish him well, as we have plenty of classic tracks to bump no matter what the outcome. i just want the outcome to be positive

Aw fuck! I love that man, dude. His albums got me through some rough shit. He's a rare breed and no one can replace him if he never comes back.

Yea but his story is actually not uncommon either! I mean I can't witness every last person's life, but there is definitely something in this industry that has gotten worse!

that nigga aint top 10 dead or alive. Hell naw, i wouldn't support em. His albums get worse and worse everytime he drops. 1st 2 albums were GOOD not great but everything else was Koch material. His time has came and went.

Sad but true. He was my fav rapper at one point, Hell Is Hot was the first album I copped wit my own money lol

i agree, but um.....u seem to not pay attention to the rest of that sentence. everything else is Koch material. I'm not buying your next album if all yo otha shit was almost trash. real close, and i'm being nice about it.

I didn't say X's first 2 albums >>>>>>>>>>>>>> your favorite rapper, I said X >>>>>>>>>>>>> your favorite rapper. And X's first 5 albums were good to me. His first 3 are classics, his 4th was good, his 5th was a little better, and his 6th was decent.

To be honest phe has his moments when he touches you because he puts shit together in a way that is hard but truthful and poetic ... kinda like PAC but not quite as eloquent or refined. Yet I think he's too lost in his demons to be effective right now. I really think DMX has one quality recording the rest were keeping the money machine going and didn't challenge him/his craft or express a whole lot, just banked off his marketability at the time. I would love to see him make a come back if he could take the audience to a new place that was deep and introspective because he is capable of that. I wouldn't want him coming back on some "Party Up" bullshit.

I would support him, dude was running things and he is the only artist ever to have his first 5 albums debut at number 1, so it would be kinda cool for his next album to be number 1

i think the game needs DMX or someone like him it would balance out the drakes and other club music like not to knock drake but hip hop is unbalanced right now. DMX was one of the most hardcore craziest niggas to ever be in the game. But he also was real in his lyrics nothing was fabricated he never had to over do himself X was just X.
