Longevity: FH&F's is a different type of label. Built from the ground up with a "R&B" feel to them I am interested to see if they can make this work. As other labels in the past have seen, this can be a gift and a curse. The roster will be around no doubt. They have the ability to sustain good radio play and be relevant in the game for years to come if everything flows together. Sion Records is probably the complete opposite in terms of how they are built. They will be around for awhile but how relevant they are remains to be seen. FH&F's just seems to be too much in the longevity department for Sion Records due to the way ahead for them.

FH&Fs

Critically Acclaimed: This is another category just benefits each label in a different way due to make up. Both labels have strong rosters that will establish themselves with notoriety and success. Two different types of fanbases will lead to both being critically acclaimed in one way or another. Just for different reasons. The key question is what is more important to each label? Does the label really care about being critically acclaimed or are they just looking to be productive? These are questions that the label heads will have to address at some point. This category is pretty much even just on a different playing field.

Edit: I have to break the tie so.......Critical acclaim in the "rap" category would be harder to pull of then in the R&B arena personally. Sion Records has the roster to make this happen.

Sion Records

Sales: Once again these labels are moving in two different directions which makes judging them pretty difficult. I believe right now that R&B feel that FH&Fs currently has will keep their head above water for awhile. But once the radio play dies down where do they move? That label is so strong that I'm not sure they will have to worry about this. The radio play that they are sure to get will drive their sales if even if they nickel and dime it. Sion Records will have to go a different route and rely on a dedicated fanbase to ensure their sales numbers can generate revenue. The road will be a little more bumpy for Sion Records but more satisfying if they succeed.

FH&Fs

ArtWork/Tracklist: Absouloutley amazing work on both sides for the album covers. Easily the best I have seen in a round. I thought round 1 was good but these labels out did even those. Each label has album covers that really look like album covers and I don't get that mixtape vibe from any of them. I had to go to the tracklists to break this tie and both labels were creative and both seem real and well thought out. I will have to give the edge here to Sion Records as his tracklists seem to fit the album covers a little more. There are some gems buried with each label though. This one was close.

Sion Records

Cohesiveness: Once again both of these labels are just very different and it's hard to judge the potential cohesiveness with each. FH&Fs went with the R&B feel and the majority of their artist seem as if they would mesh well together. Sion Records is more hip hop oriented and the artists should be able to take advantage of this. I see big crew records and albums out of them and that "underground" fanbase and loyalty will prevail here. Having a label full of R&B stars is almost like having a label full of females. It will take some patience and work to make it flow well. It can be done though.

Sion Records

OVERRALL WINNER: Sion Records

Mikey bruh there gotta be a clear vote don't you think?

Lol I didn't plan it like that I he just went category by category. I can think of a Tie Breaker if I have to.

I would greatly appreciate that if you do

Longevity - goes to ibex.... Cuz I said so lol na but seriously ibex label is aimed towards multiple gernes while sions is basically a rap labal your more likely to last longer as a label when its well rounded and not just made for rap fans just lookin at ibex artist he has atleast 4 gernes in his pocket Pop/Rap/Techno/R&B

Critically Acclaimed - is a tough one but for every good rap artist sion has ibex can possibly match it Kendrick vs Taylor, Em vs Macklemore etc etc and I know some of y'all are probably thinking no way Macklemore can match Em but ull be surprised how well pop rap sells so its a Tie

Sales - Ibex his artist are alot more radio friendly they can grab the mainstream crowd sion label is more under ground based slaughter house and Joe budden, trae truth ain't outselling nobody on ibex label most of sion artist are in the show and prove phase of there careers not many of them have had break out mainstream success atleast not as constantly as ibex roster vote ibex

Artwork/tracklist - goes to ibex for me both of you did amazing jobs but I'm not feeling that em and Jay cover at all I would expect something more clean cut if Jay is involved in it that's the only thing that threw it in ibex fav for me

Cohesiveness - in my opinion is a tie

Vote goes to Ibex

....was really expecting sion to outclass ibex but ibex is playing the game exactly how I stated in the yung and vader match up...alot of y'all focused on more Rap or R&B and left out other gernes like pop/country/rock/techno that could generate alot more revenue and staying power S/O to ibex for going for the best label instead of best hip hop label
