Now with the setup Rothstein did on Lucky and Meyer, I think it's the perfect time to introduce people to Salavtore Maranzano -- setting up the Castallammarese War (if they do it in later season after Season 4, or if there is a spin off starting with that war to show the real rise of Lucky/Meyer/Bugsy)

I'm waiting to see a young Frank Costello make an appearance. He got the Tammany Hall connects after Rothstein was killed.

you gotta remember that the show is about Nucky and Atlantic City. so i really doubt they spend any significant time showing warring crime families in New York. Just as they don't show a bunch of other stuff that Al Capone does and probably won't show stuff that Lucky Luciano will do. All of that stuff is only relevant to the point that it directly effects Nucky and his business.

They haven't even shown Al Capone's brother yet, and he got killed in Cieero.

but why would they show al capone's brothers death? its pretty irrelevant to the show. i mean they might work it in there somehow. maybe to foreshadow something with Eli? But unless the writers tie it into the plot somehow, i don't know why they would mention it.

Man they should've let that scene happen.

Very satisfying finale to a season, while others may not agree, i enjoyed. even if we didnt to get to van alden. but seeing how they will focus on the chicago wars next season im sure we'll see much more of him in cicero

i like the screen pairing of chalky and capone. while it showed they had differences in the beginning later it also showed us they can partner up when they offed masseria's men

we're showed how demented gillian is yet again when she talked about the commodore raping her while she was in a drugged up haze. and, while she's not my least favorite female character, i would be happier if she had limited screen time to focus on more interesting characters.

which brings me to my next point of who i think the most useless, disposable, female character in the show really is: margaret. every time a scene included her, the series came to a screeching halt and it painfully dragged. as much as i dislike gillian's character and thinks she has issues, i dont feel like the series drags when she's on screen. like when she was seducing gyp. margaret on the other hand serves no purpose for being on the show at all. im glad she rejected the money offered to her at the end by nucky. hopefully that means she stays in brooklyn and her character is written off like the useless cunt whore that she is

Its funny how rothstein's character included the domino effect. he thought he was slick when he set up lucky and meyer's characters with the faux policeman. but he himself got fucked over as well from nucky when he tried to take over the distillery in exchange for pulling some of masseria's men. i knew nucky wasnt going to forget rothestein abandoning him earlier in the season because he in turn got means and mellon and arrest everybody working there.

richard harrow is a bad mofo. i called a a few seasons back. his accuracy is precise and he cant be fucked with. but as always with his character i knew he wouldnt find true happiness. excited to see where his character goes next season.

the way gyp went out was anti-climactic but it was honestly one of the few ways it couldve panned out. its only appropriate that tonnio would be the guy to take him down. seeing as how he had to witness gyp savagely murdering his cousion a few episodes back. and im sure many expected him to die in some epic gunfire battle so in a way it kind of went against the grain in that regard too.

but as i said earlier, i really enjoyed this season. i didnt mind the slow episodes at all. i think wehn one views this season as a whole it actaully plays out very good

that might be true about Nucky and AC, but still that Masseria-Marazano beef will effect Nuck and AC .... and like one of the other posters said ..we will see Frank Costello who is basically the Italian version of Nucky and Lefty (the real "Ace" of the movie Casino)

On the Chicago side, I wonder if they will show "Curly" -- this dude was Meyer's peer and equal on the Chicago side.

Curly:

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murray_Humphreys

Also read the book on "The Outfit" -- the nearly entire history of Torrio, Capone, Curly, Accardo, Moony -- I just finish the hardcover and the book was absolute nuts and made understand Torrio and Capone better:

*will post link for ebook when i find it*

As promised, I found the link to the ebook on "The Outfit"

Shit was hard to find ...took me about 2 hours to find on Google, and then to find out it was on .mobi format. I did an online conversion to .pdf (so ya'll can go to the chapters you want easily by clicking on the Table of Contents) and plus uploading it for ya'll ungrateful bastards.

I better see some cosigns or GOAT for doing this shit, or I'm coming into ya houses like I'm Richard Harrow

The Outfit:

i've read and watched a good bit on this stuff. and i know most of it involving the alcohol ties back to nucky. all i'm wondering is how much of it will they will use for the show.
