I go w/ Jigga just on the simple fact that HOV has more material than Big period. I know it's not biggie's fault that he only has two records but the nigga only has two records. Nobody got to see if he would of fell off or stayed at the top for over a decade like HOV. Ready to Die was a classic album but would his eleventh album be as half as good as his 1st one? Nobody knows, Hov proved he can still do it, that's y he's better to me. Jay-Z couldn't release 2 albums, still be alive, and be put in the same sentence as Biggie. You know it and I know it.

Big wasn't even gonna release a 4th album anyway. He said he would retire after his 3rd album (born again) which was to drop in 2000.

You're right...Big was grimier and Jay was playboy/pretty boy smooth which explains Jay's deposition on handling shit whenever it got too thick for him..

But on topic..I felt that if Big didn't express the suspect shit in his rhymes he would overpower Jay..but then again Jay patterned his flows after Jaz, Kane and Big and got more longevity out of it to give him that edge.
