Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell tweeted Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict has "gotta go" after he kicked Roosevelt Nix in Sunday's 29-14 Steelers win.

Burfict kicked both feet in Nix's direction after he was shoved to the ground in the first quarter. Neither player was called for a penalty on the play.

"It's unbelievable the league is just condoning this activity...but if Rosie reacts, Rosie would be the one that would get into trouble," Bell tweeted.

Burfict has been suspended on multiple occasions for violations of NFL player safety rules. He sat out the first three games of the 2017 season due to a suspension that was initially a five-game ban. A 2013 Pro Bowler, Burfict is an effective player but often has temperament issues on the field.

"The ref said he didn't see it. So, just keep on playing," Nix said, per Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com.

The NFL could see this as another infraction by Burfict and look to suspend him again, though this glancing kick appears to be less severe than his other indiscretions. The league's rulebook states repeat offenders are subject to increased discipline for continued violation of safety rules.

"A player who is a repeat offender should expect more severe discipline, and fines third offenses and beyond in the same season or based on prior seasons' violations will be established on a case-by-case basis, and may increase substantially," the league's rulebook states.
