They gave him a lot of moolah for a mofo who's hampered by injuries all the damn time. But the Bolts need depth on their the line so I "kinda" see why they bit.

Maaaaaaaaaaaan fuck all this, I know when Cooks is catching td's I'll forget about it but fuck this new Patriot way, I was looking forward to watching Butler put together a great career here, he already stapled his place in history off one play alone and developed into a top 10 arguably top 5 corner, but now we're going to sign Gilmore for top cornerback money and trading Butler for Cooks where we are going to have to pay him top receiver money next year? I'm not with it I'd rather dish out the money to Butler and forget about Cooks and Gilmore, can we at least bring Logan Ryan back please? And god forbid we don't bring back Hightower

Nah, trading Butler for a receiver (if it happens) and paying that receiver top dollar is something new, Mccourty got his money, Gilmore just got paid and all we ever done is light his ass up, we traded Collins and Jones fine we couldnt keep everybody but you're not going to pay Butler or Hightower? I actually thought u guys were gonna keep Butler and let Hightower walk (which prolly will happen, but we'll see).
