A backup doesn't mean shit to NO though. That team can't win a game without a QB shittin on people. Brees has averaged 300+ yards and 2 TD's a game for the past 6 years, and only has 2 winning seasons to show for it. A game without Brees is a L regardless of who the backup is

I'd be hesitant to pick him up if I was another team. He's already one of the main targets in a pass happy system, with an elite QB (what should be a WR dream), and he's unhappy. Going to a more balanced offense with Mariota may have him still walkin around bitchin.
