While Juventus have been trying (so far unsuccessfully) to get Sevilla to negotiate from midfielder Steven N'Zonzi's €40m release clause, the player handing in a transfer request may have just done that, CalcioMercato cites Gazzetta dello Sport as reporting.

They need to stop being bitches and give us that money for Matic.

There's plenty more spending to come at Chelsea, according to the Telegraph, which reports that the Premier League champions are poised to "back coach Antonio Conte with a budget that could top £250 million." Conte wants to make four more signings, with Juventus left-back Alex Sandro, Inter Milan winger Antonio Candreva, Swansea forward Fernando Llorente and Southampton defender Virgil van Dijk in his sights.

Premier League sides Watford and Championship club Hull City are in the frame to sign Liverpool winger Lazar Markovic after manager Jurgen Klopp declared that the Serbia international's Anfield career was over.

Liverpool, the Mirror reports, "are prepared to take a staggering £13m hit" on a player brought in from Benfica three years ago. Watford appear to be favourites, with coach Marco Silva having signed Markovic on loan during his stint at Hull last season.

Sounds like those franchise owners don't wanna risk their team gettin' relegated

Yeah it sounds ridiculous, its just like most American sports there is no relegation or promotion system...

@ anyone who knows anything about the MLS, how do NASL teams get into the MLS??? Or can they??? I want Melo's PR team to get into the MLS, also how is Beckham's team gonna go straight into the MLS, bypassing the NASL etc bit of a joke, and unfair isnt it???

Also, so if a team is winning everything in the NASL they are still permanently stuck in the league??? There not much motivation really knowing that you can never get into the top league... Its like winning the EFL Championship every year and not getting into the EPL...
