How the Cowboys supposed to be in "win now" mode and we out here making luxury picks like we dont have glaring holes that need to be filled. Jaylon Smith may end up being a very good player eventually but you dont take a dude who cant play for another year that high in the draft especially when you have a qb whos can be done at any moment and have several needs that should be addressed first

In a way Shepard is insurance for Cruz, their games are VERY similar. In our offense Shepard can play on the outside as well at his size which is a bonus....Hopefully T.J Green from Clemson can drop to us in the 3rd round to fill that safety need.
