How cole didn't get a grammy tonight is why i didn't watch the awards nor do i give the gammy's power. Now i am sure kendricks performance was powerful for this one show but lets be honest he doesn't tour regularly and perform the same caliber of a show night in and night out on tour.

Cole on the other hand not only had a better album his tour sold out every major city in the country this past summer. He did his entire new album front to back and nobody fell asleep outside of a few niggas so turnt on the liqour they passed out.

I hardly bumped TPAB after 2 months outside of few songs. But i was bumping FHD in late 2014 and through 2015 and so was allot of the hip hop community.

I'm a self admitted Cole Stan but he didn't deserve one unfortunately

Actually he did deserve a few....any other year, he caught a bad break Kendrick just happened to come through the same year

Cole made a great album, Dot made a amazing one

They both at the top of their games, two of the best ever...K Dot just soooo good*Drake voice*

If he was so good why were niggas walking out during his set during radio shows? Cole crosses over to have both conscious and mainstream fans to pay attention to his message. TPAB is a half assed slacktivisim album. Sure they have bars but its more throwing words in the air than actually having a true meaning. FHD tells a story and holds a concept of growing up. It was released with no promo and sold album for album with TPAB. Let's see if kendrick could sell out venues like cole. Let's see his message actually be as authentic as J coles is who was in Ferguson with the people.

Think Cole next album will no question be album of the year imo

Cole is a nice lil rapper but he dont move the needle he just doesnt have the IT

He just has to politic more, look at how much politicking Kendrick did prior that's why he lost the first time. I figured out the Grammies are more of a game of politics, only for the pop fields is it more levelled cuz the pool for representation is too vast.

Mark my words Cole's next album will be his best. He found his lane and sound. He doesn't even need outside production. FHD had no structure I don't think he thought it was going to receive the attention it did. Next album will be is best but the competition will be stiffer too (Drake, NaS, Kanye, possibly Jay-Z, and whoever else). Cole is at the forefront of this rsp shit :+1:

Im glad Kendrick is receiving these accolades. He deserves them, I just hope he is winning these based on the quality of his work and not out of guilt by the Grammy committee and that this standard is carried foward. I dont want to see Lil Dickey beating Cornroll Kenny out for future hip hop Grammys.
