According to The Philadelphia Inquirer, Bryan Colangelo, the Philadelphia 76ers president of basketball operations, is in Spain looking at a top point guard and their late 2016 first-round pick.
Milos Teodosic, 30, is drawing interest from several NBA teams, including the Brooklyn Nets, and Colangelo watched the Serbian on Tuesday as CSKA Moscow played against Spanish-side Baskonia Vitoria Gasteiz in the Euroleague playoffs.
“He’s the best passer in the world, from a purely offensive standpoint,” ESPN analyst Fran Fraschilla said recently. "Chris Paul is a Hall of Famer, but as far as a pure passer, [Teodosic] might be the most creative passer in the world today. Now, he will not guard a chair, but he’s a brilliant offensive player and an ultra-competitor.”
The Sixers will open training camp in the fall with Ben Simmons at point guard, however, if Teodosic were to be signed, that plan could be scrapped.
He's the best player in Europe. That would be a nice pick up.
