That's a great comparison. Both have high basketball IQ and are quintessential point guards. They both stubborn, sneaky too and could score if they wanted to but understand their role is to get their bigs and everyone else involved first. Simple but effective pick and role, pass to the open man or shoot the midrange or drive to the hole if they overplay. They both hall of famers. For the record, I hated Stockton and the Jazz against my Jordan Bulls but I respected Stockton.

I'd take him over Stock, but it's almost a push. I just think CP3 can do everything John did, BUT Chris can take flat take over games. It also depends on what kind of team I've got and with that said, I think Paul naturally fits any system (and his assist/turnover ratio is better). Stock does have durability going for him tho.

This here. CP3 can do everything stockton did, maybe not as well, but its very close. But, CP3 is a better ball handler, better at shooting off the dribble, better at attacking the rim, faster, and stronger.

Me too but I figured we would drop one on the road, OKC played damn near a perfect game last night and we still were just a Harden 3 away from winning

These slow starts are killing us, have to come out with a sense of urgency and some energy... we did the exact opposite of what we talked about yesterday as far as taking the crowd out the game early and letting OKC feed off that lol

Harden was spectacular minus the turnovers

Our bigs were soft, Nene and Capela have to box out and be better on the boards.....not a fan of any of the Anderson at the 5 lineups either but this was his best game of the series so far

Have to stop throwing the ball away so much, OKC does a good job of converting those opportunities into points. 25 points off turnovers to our 4

Ariza has been trash all series

With all that being said we still havent played an all around good team game yet and I still think we're in good shape....we lose tomorrow though then it might time to get a little nervous

Would hate to lose the series cuz of rondos injury,cuz the bulls were sonnin boston and were gonna win this series but the back ups can't even make entry passes.The drop off from rondo to these inexperienced unproven youngins is tremendous

Yesterday was just bad all around defense everything was terrible.Fred should give valentine some tick and let jimmy and wade run pg all game.Surround them with shooters

My nigga took the game over.Down 14 on the road no blake and closed the game out with 22 second half points with paul pierces corpse,boute,dj and crawford.Chris paul is leading the clippers in 4th quarter scoring shooting 55% fg and 48% from 3's in the 4th of this series and has 1 turnover.

I swear CP...... scratch that, the Clippers play better without Blake.



Chris could avg. 25+ a game if he wanted to, it's just not his style.

Facts they're 47-22 without blake the last 3 seasons offense/defense ratings and numbers the same without bg and fg% goes up without him.The clippers should let blake bounce this summer replace him with melo at stretch 4.Tired of chris paul taking all the blame while this pansy skates and look he's injured AGAIN.

the 3 point line makes it so that blake value can kinda be nullified if you got a spot up shooter that can step in for him

and thats awful

because something is kinda wrong if you could sub in a ryan anderson type for blake and the clippers would just hum along just fine

I don't know this injury threw a monkey wrench into everything.Like I said they gotta adjust some rotations I'd rather see payne or valentine out there over grant/mcw(he tries but besides his defense he sucks)

Even if the bulls lose the wizards will probably beat them, after watching the 1st 2 games I ain't buyin boston like I once was.

Another thing is jimmy(and kahwi)struggle when they get trapped.That's why I say surround him with shooters & move the rock.That hero ball is the easiest offense to defend,didn't like jimmys game yesterday he played awful outside that 2nd quarter run.No sense of urgency at all from him took a lot of long 2's didn't drive was too nonchalant.

Wade is the 2nd best passer on the team and is a scoring threat he needs to run pg at least early in the game and wit the 2nd unit.
