Anybody check the end of the Kings and Clippers game?

Wow.

Buddy Hield is the man. Dudes were underrating him, but I had faith. Pelicans may have saved his career by trading him to the Kings, cause it wasn't clear whether they would have allowed him to flourish there.

fuck what lebron talking about

at some point, you gotta let kids be kids

i see this shit every saturday

fake ass phil jacksons out there with clipboards...for fucking what?? these are 5th-8th graders brah. They just happy to be out there.

Uconn womens bball coach said it perfectly this weekend when he said "coaches/parents today, need to teach kids how to be better teammates". Stop telling these kids they gon be the next so and so and let them be the very best version of themselves.

I'll give you the 5th graders but 8th grade I don't see where the problem is if the coach got a clipboard.

Parents need to be realistic but at the same time depending on how long your child been playing shit gets serious at some point. Parents ain't forking over their hard earned money and most importantly wasting their time just so their 13-14 yr old child can be on a team and "just happy to be out there."

Yes its supposed to be fun but at a certain point the child needs to get serious about what they trying to do. If they just want to fuck around then they can go play in the free to cheap local rec league and leave that travel ball/aau ball alone. That shit costs money.

fam, not every 8th grader is going to the adidas ABCD camp. A lot of these kids cant even dribble with their off hand, and the only reason they "care" is b/c its been blasted in their minds is winning is the most important thing they should be worried about.

I'm only using an extremely small sample size, but this league i've been reffing for the past 4 years or so, out of hundreds of kids that have come through there, maybe 10 are currently on a high school roster right now. Four of those ten are on the same team b/c the HS uses the league as a pipeline for their freshmen team, and these kids are legit good. Probably in most likelihood wont go play college ball anywhere unless they have a huge growth spurt, but they were miles ahead of all the other kids that were in 8th grade with them when they all played.

But you are right though to a degree. My issue is with the dudes who have the clipboards, but dont actually draw up plays with it
