Via ESPN’s Zach Lowe, the 76ers made quite the offer to try and pry PG13 from Indiana.

The 76ers reportedly offered the Pacers their choice of Jahlil Okafor or Nerlens Noel along with Robert Covington and at least two future first round picks for George.

Philadelphia was confident George would sign long-term with them, playing alongside young players like Joel Embiid and Dario Saric.

I was glad the Pacers turned that down. They basically offered damn near a starting five for PG. TWO 1st rounds AND one of the centers plus Covington? Nah. That price was too fuckin high for a guy wanting to be in LA.

Lower that 2nd 1st round to a 2nd round pick, and just offer Jah, and I'm good with it.
