Bron talking that shit

"I'm not going to let him disrespect my legacy like that," James told ESPN. "I'm not the one who threw somebody through a window. I never spit on a kid. I never had unpaid debt in Las Vegas. I never said, 'I'm not a role model.' I never showed up to All-Star Weekend on Sunday because I was in Vegas all weekend partying.

"All I've done for my entire career is represent the NBA the right way. Fourteen years, never got in trouble. Respected the game. Print that."

"Go watch the '93 Finals when John Paxson hit the shot," James said. "Barkley and Jordan were laughing and joking with each other during one of the games while somebody's shooting a free throw. In the Finals. But, oh, nobody were friends back then."

Bringing up Anthony reminded James of another basketball luminary that has tweaked him this season -- New York Knicks president Phil Jackson -- and he had a story to share about Jackson, as well.

"I went to see Melo at the Garden two years ago when we were in New York," James said. "They played Portland. I went up to a suite at halftime and Phil Jackson didn't say one word to me."

This fall, of course, Jackson brought up James' name unprompted in an interview with ESPN's Jackie MacMullan and described James and his close circle of business associates -- Rich Paul, Maverick Carter and Randy Mims -- as his "posse."

"I'm here to win ball games and take care of my teammates and take care of my, what's that word, oh, my 'posse,' " James said, animatedly.

He had more words for Barkley too.

"I know he wanted to retire a long time ago, but he can't," James said. "He's stuck up on that stage every week."

He then issued a challenge, of sorts.

"And if this makes him want to talk to me, the schedule's out there," James said. "He knows every road arena I'll be in. Don't just come up to me at All-Star and shake my hand and smile."

Said it before and I'll reiterate suns future > Lakers future

Just to clarify..what counts as the suns' future?

Chriss

Bender

Warren

and anybody else?

Those 3 and booker. Let's keep it real Lakers don't have anyone who are transcendent at their position. Booker looks like he can be a top 5 two guard in the future. Who on the Lakers can we say that about? D russ gotta shoot above 40% and Ingram gotta open his eyes and stop playing so shook diggity. Lou will and nick young are their leading scorers compare to the suns and t wolves that have young players playing at a higher level. They're lucky I don't feel like digging through old post after that 10-10 start

I agree.

Lol nobody on your team can drop 29ppg and 7apg, one of your leading scorers does pelvic thrust after 3's and you wanna talk down on us .we're the 2 seed and getting a top 3 pick our future > Lakers future

You're enamored by simple stats. Fuck context. All the young players you gas play a shit ton of minutes in offenses where the green light is to put up shots. That's dope. They're really good/great players in situations where they can get theirs statistically.

I hate that Luke plays these niggas in damn near hockey shifts. And pulls our young guys off the court when they bullshittin on defense because at the end of the game you cats that don't know context will look at a box score and think you know what you're popping off. If these niggas sucked I would be banging the table to try to trade them while the stock is up but I watch every game that's far from the case. But I get it, dude actually developing them for how he envisions them long term. Our starters only run actual sets we rarely run simple PnR stuff with the starters. ISO pretty much never. It's a bunch of Horns sets, Chin sets, some motion weak, floppy. Basketball talk.

All the other lil niggas you gas can suck all they want on defense and they still play their 34+ mins jack up shots and you eat it up. Trust me if he let D'Angelo come down Green light every series and not pull him out if he misses a couple defensive assignments in a row he'd be putting up the same numbers scoring and better in other stats than the ones you gassing. It's statistically proof with that just not the simple ones you like. Prior to his injury a couple weeks ago he was shooting 50% on catch and shoot 3's. At this point of his career he isn't a great off the dribble shooter. he 90% only runs with the starting group of Nick,Ju, Moz and Deng there is no other half court facilitating besides him meaning he has to create everything which negates his scoring. Dude plays 26 mins a night. Part of that was the PRP injection shot minutes restriction but even before that it was 28.

Ingram shooting been terrible, getting to the lane fairly easily just to weak to finish hence his shooting pct. idk what's up with his free throws. But on defense the dude been a handful for some good wings in this league. That doesn't show in the box score. I get it. He's gonna be a guy that explodes Year 3 maybe even year 4.

Julius is Julius. I expect him to be a super role player at his apex.

Zubac has shown nice potential in little time.

Nance is already a really solid role player kinda fragile tho.

Clarkson developed serious tunnel vision & is actually the most disappointing one but to you he's probably the best one because he averages the most.

This fun though I'll put you on the summer jam screen individually when it's all said and done.
