So Bob got sacked? Lets see if Giggs can step up now

Monk should never have got the sack and Bradley should never have been hired (not his fault, just another stupid decision by the owners). Giggs can't save that mess of a club.

Pardew's out of a job, I can imagine he's already dad dancing down to Liberty Stadium.

Juventus have reportedly identified their next Andrea Pirlo. Tuttosport claims Juventus are prepared to sanction a Gonzalo Higuain-like bid in an attempt to land Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos. The report goes on to say Juventus would offer up to £76m to land the Germany international who just recently signed fresh terms with the Spanish giants, extending his contract until 2022. However, a mammoth offer could see Blancos coach Zinedine Zidane cash in as they eye up the next Galactico.

Juan Sebastian Veron set to come out of retirement aged 41 and return for Estudiantes in the Copa Libertadores after keeping fan promise

The Argentine is training again with his boyhood club Estudiantes after promising to return for the 2017 Copa Libertadores if fans bought 65 per cent of boxes at the club's new stadium.

After bringing down the curtain on his playing career in 2014 after spells with United, Lazio, Chelsea and Inter, Veron, who is president of the La Plata club, trained on Wednesday ahead of his comeback.

After taking part in his own personal training programme, Veron played under the watchful eye of manager and former Arsenal defender Nelson Vivas.

Estudiants defender Julian Marchioni was impressed by the playmaker's showing and said: 'Veron is the same as always, he didn't misplace a pass. It's something incredible.'

The ex-Argentina international, who turns 42 in March, will play in a friendly game before playing competitively in the Copa Libertadores.

Former Manchester United midfielder Juan Sebastian Veron has put his boots back on at the age of 41, to sign for boyhood club Estudiantes.

Two years after announcing his retirement, the Argentina legend has put pen to paper on an 18-month deal, and will donate all his wages to the development of the club.
