I just hope we don't finish with a better record than Sacramento, no telling how the first 5 picks gonna play out, I just know Sacramento will most likely target a 2 guard in the lottery since McLemore is a bust and we don't need them taking the last best few wing players left in the draft that could be had by the time it's our turn to pick. It would be very surprising if Hield or Murray lasted all the way to the 7th pick tho. Luwawu and Valentine could be this team's last hope in the lottery to officially move on from Eric Gordon tho.

I'm not sure if it was you, someone on here clowned me for wanting a guard tho.

Man, this entire time I only been looking at the wing prospects. The people saying we should draft a center to me is laughable considering how useless a traditional center will be utilized under Gentry. Plus, we play in the West, where Golden State makes traditional centers useless, on top of how much money we already have invested into the underutilized centers currently on the roster, it just doesn't makes sense to me truthfully.

So you would be cool with a guard? I prefer wings too, but any in the lotto would be a stretch. As far as somehow getting a second 1st rounder and drafting a "project " wing like Dwayne Bacon then I'm all for it. Or even the dude from Providence...shit we could Draft Dunn and his teammate and I'll be ecstatic.

I prefer to draft someone that can be leaned on to contribute immediately next season. Pure projects where we just wasting years looking for some semblance of hope just don't make sense at this point in AD's tenure, we're already to deep in the game to waste years with him when the clock begins to start ticking next season on his tenure here. So, the 'trade back' crew for more projects is laughable to me too but whatever.

So your saying prospects like Heild, Dunn, Valentine, etc?

Yep, I really think a player Valentine will transfer, he's way more than just a 3 point shooter, so if we can at least come out of this draft with him depending on where we selecting, I think we'll be fine.

They need a tall wing or another shooting guard. If they go Shooting guard first Valentine/Murray/Heild then they need to go Taurean Prince in the second round.

I like Heild in this offense. Instant offense. Can catch and shoot. Confident even when the shot is not falling. Doesnt mind taking the last shot from anywhere on the court. Can drive and create separation. My type of player.

i forgot they need to replace Gordon

yea...if Heild is there, gonna be hard to pass on him at 6...i still feel the most pressing need is a wing, but maybe they are more confident in Q-pon coming back and can slide back into that role..

Also, if they address the Center position too, they might be able to slide AD back to the 4, and Cunningham back to the 3 as a back up to Q-pon.

Again told you niggaz I didn't like that Gentry hire from the jump kinda makes me wonder how much some of y'all watch ball cosigning that dude coming here.

Yea I know we've been hurt, but there is no reason this squad shouldn't have at least been competiting for a 7 or 8 seed.

We going to suck again next year in this system to more than likely I hope I'm wrong though.

I was just hoping we'd suck enough to get a possible future elite perimeter player, but seems like we trying to fuck even that up.

there is a bunch of revisionist stuff going on up in here

i think too many people in here are short sighted and look at everything in a vacuum

if you wouldve told me before the season that the pels would've practically shut down their entire core a month after AS break, i would've called you a liar

if this team had everybody healthy, at the same time, and STILL had this record, then i think the criticisms of Gentry would be justified, but is constantly competing for the 7th or 8th seed really seen as an accomplishment in here?

maybe thats where im confused

You logical to be a Pels fan bruh lol. But nah man you right, although I believe we are seeing that Gentry system works when it's not ran by hardhead stars, or low IQ players who only care about their stats.

These d leaguers are proving that team basketball wins games.

I hear ya Caddo but it's 3 things that have plagued this team for years. Injuries, chemistry and a bench. Whether it was Monty or Gentry, those 3 always hurt us. Something gotta shake man. I've never been so happy for this season to be over. You know how depressing that is. I was hyped up thinking we was gonna run some shit in the West too. We all fucked up man lol

it was a lot of this
