PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Sources tell Action News that former Eagles player LeSean McCoy is under investigation for an alleged assault on two Philadelphia police officers.

Both officers were hospitalized as a result of the incident, those sources said.

It happened around 2:30 a.m. Sunday at the Recess Lounge located at 125 South 2nd Street in Old City.

It was there that McCoy, and a friend, were involved in a physical altercation with the two officers, sources said.

Sources also say that while McCoy and his friend were not arrested, they are the focus of the investigation.

A police report was made at the time the incident took place, those sources added.

Action News has reached out to McCoy's agent for comment.

McCoy now plays for the Buffalo Bills.

I read there's video of this incident

That's probably why they weren't arrested..

The police was probably doing some some shit they had no business doing..

I think the casual football fans overrated the panthers they like the 5th best team in the NFC, they overachieved and beat bad teams all year, they used that momentum to beat the Seahawks and Cardinals. They need another WR, CB and a RB then we can talk. Broncos were underrated and they might have the greatest defense of all time.

That Broncos D is not even top 10 All Time, Broncos throughout the entire playoffs were underdogs besides against Pitt because of their injuries, if Steelers were even at 80% strength like they were in late December when they served Broncos, Ben would've dropped 30+ pts on those niggas head again..

Flags or lack there of is why their Defense looked good... All those times Brady/Cam got hit late and NEVER a roughing the passer/unecessary roughness call, all those times Talib and the secondary got away with blatant holds and PI's especially in the redzone and down the field.. I know they call it homefield adv for a reason but holy shit.

Refs let Denvers D get away with anything bc it was the only way for Denver to stay in games bc Peyton was shitty af and couldn't move the ball despite having great offensive players

You're delusional part of you argument is why top 10 defense got away with so much in the first place and the rules got changed by the golden boys Manning and Brady. Denver shut down 3 HOF QBs Rodgers, Brady and Big Ben, and the league MVP. They held Rodgers to 77 yards passing and no touchdowns in a league in favor of offense. Watch that video I posted and tell me objectively if Miller wasn't held and still caused the fumble? Denver had more penalties then Carolina....Manning not moving the ball proves my point more, that defense should of been gassed being on the field all that time isn't the the excuse when good defense give up touchdowns or games?

Only reason these games were close is because Manning is washed up, Denver was scoring more with a backup QB and Denver had starters on defense out when they played the Steelers.

Denver played the Bears and had no penalties called against the bears for the whole game!

Miller, Ware get held every play I watched it. They don't get the "superstar calls" now learn football or stop talking your delusional opinions are useless and check my posts predicting panthers and broncos superbowl and denver winning cha chingggg

What QBs the Ravens play in their run? Brian Griese? Rich Gannon? Or Journeyman racist Kerry Collins?

Denver-Big Ben, Brady, Rising star league MVP Newton?

85 bears Steve Grogan,Jeff Hostetler,Dieter Brock

You tell me what defense overrated.....85 bears played marino on primetime got lit up for 35 points or was it 38?

Nigga you're talking in circles, sayin the same shit different ways after i already proved all that garbage wrong.. Denver took Ls in their division this year and should've lost both games to KC and the Raiders and caught a L to the damn Colts. That Defense was good but wasn't legendary, anybody that actually watched the NFL as recent as 2013 would tell you this Broncos D wasn't better than LOB in 2013-14.. LMAO @ shutting a injured Big Ben down, they sure as hell didn't shut him down in December

With a couple days to reflect, Newton told the Charlotte Observer he was simply being himself and how he reacted was genuine after losing the biggest game of his career.

"Show me a good loser, and I'll show you a loser," Newton said to Charlotte Observer Panthers beat writer Joe Person.

Newton also defended himself for not trying to recover his fumble late in the game that led the Denver's game-sealing TD. Newton said he would've had to contort his leg and risk injury.

"We didn't lose that game because of that fumble," Newton said. "I can tell you that."

You proved my point talking in circles blaming the refs when Denver had more penalties.....the hit QB, niggas cry the game is to soft, then when their QB get rocked they look for flags.....hypocrites. Carolina had no chance, they wanted to be rappers, Denver wanted to be champions

Niggas really giving him a pass for not diving on a fumble on their last drive of the game to win it because he said he could have hurt himself?

Y'all niggas are pathetic.

Him jumping over defenders he could hurt himself

Him fighting for extra yards he could have hurt himself

But y'all really buying that excuse?

Gotta co-sign Shiz. Cam was being real feminine the last six minutes of the game, and that press conference didn't help at all. I still fux wit Killah, but clearly, he still got some ho tendencies in him that comes out in force when shit don't go his way.
