Yea russ had a fractured cheekbone I just looked it up the orbital bone is the eye socket.So rose will probably be out til new years knowing his timelines

I like D. Rose and I honestly think he isn't a bad guy but like a few have pointed out he isn't the most articulate guy around.

I don't think many teams will give him the max due to his injury history and shaky jumper. I'm rooting for the guy to bounce back to being close to the player he was though.

One of the reasons the guy said what he said I believe is the fact that he see's the hand writing on the wall as far as his career goes. he hasn't been able to stay healthy and his game isn't what it used to be so he is trying to get that money all these teams are throwing around while he can.

I believe you are right about the Bulls not giving him the max deal even if he balls out these next couple of years some what healthy. The only way they would i think, is if they win a championship and look like they could win another one with him as a main cog
