I know my list is controversial, but I stand by it.

In my opinion Wilt Chamberlain was better than Bill Russell, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and Shaq...

David Robinson was better than Tim Duncan...

And, Oscar Robertson was better than Magic Johnson and LeBron James...

Too many players are overrated for winning multiple championships and underrated for winning fewer championships...

I don't think comparing rings is the best way to always compare who was a better player... for example... nobody is putting Robert Horry in their top ten because of his 7 rings...

I look at it like this...

Bill Russell averaged 15.1 PPG, 22.5 REB, 4.3 AST, on 44% FG's (11 RINGS)

Wilt Chamberlain averaged 30.1 PPG, 22.9 REB, 4.4 AST, on 54% FG's (1 RING)

If we're talking about who do you wan't to run with in a pick up game, or one on one... I'm picking Wilt over Russ...

I think we overrated some legends too much... a lot of teams weren't even shooting 40% back then, that's why they were averaging 20+ rebounds for their career...

There's no question about that... Bill Russell was undoubtedly the best player on that squad... it's laughable to even think otherwise...

I just have a hard time believing he was better than Wilt... maybe a better leader.... maybe a better teammate... but a better overall player? I don't know...
