Best regular season team ever

First finals comeback ever

City of Cleveland getting that ship

They might fuck around and destroy that city from celebrating that hard. And bron ain't leaving Cleveland if they win. He was king status in this city already but he's gonna elevate to God status if he wins for this city.

He gonna have a city wide holiday where kids are off of school and the banks are closed...bet that

He gon be like "Remember Cavs Jazz in 03 when Ricky Davis missed a layup on his own basket to get the last rebound for a triple double. Unforgettable storyline right there"

"Philadelphia’s No. 1 overall pick will likely sign a four-year rookie contract worth $26,620,450"

I just don't understand all these waste of height mfers walking around out here wanting to be teachers and shit.

It takes elite talent and/or skill to play pro ball. There's a cat at my job who is 6'8,he's a doofy uncoordinated non athletic dude he's taller than 95% of people on the street but he don't have the ability.I hoop wit a whiteboy at the gym he 6'7 got crazy range and he's a D-III college bench player who will never make it to the league. This cat I knew back in the day named marcus white went to uconn then purdue was a top 100 recruit use to dominate chicago local parks it was like guarding shaq when we played him,but in college he was average and eventually had back issues he made it to the d league years ago but that's it.All 3 cats 6'7-6'9

great point

and even then it really is amazing how some athletes can go from being dominant at the college level to being awful at the pro level -- it takes me back to those surveys that come out before the nba season starts where they ask players shit like what was/is their biggest nba adjustment

length of season

physicality

lifestyle

conditioning

etc

and the speed of the game is always polled the highest

just serves as a reality check for anybody wondering what itd be like to play at an nba level

super elite college athletes who can get up and down the court with great speed and pace struggle to adjust to the speed of the nba game

it looks like normal basketball to us on television but its go, go, go

anything can happen in game 7s

its going to be mental as hell

the highest level of pressure for each

gs fighting against an all time collapse and cavs fighting against the luck of their city -- if the cavs complete their improbable comeback they have their 2004 red sox cinderella story ending decades of misery and if the warriors hold on they complete a pantheon season and win their 2nd straight title

both only made possible cause they didnt trade for k love and the cavs did

i went from thinking lebron girl should be reading over their insurance policy regarding fire damage because that akron mansion is gonna be set ablaze to now honestly being more surprised if gs wins than loses

this game getting super bowl numbers

everybody watching

its gonna be interesting to watch how narratives of players change

the perception of curry and lebron will change so dramatically after this game 7

one more than the other (i think)

Id say Celtics/Lakers Game 7 in 2010 was comparable cause it was Celtics/Lakers and after '08, EVERYBODY wanted to watch that series. And that game turned out to be a classic.

Bolded will be crazy

If Curry lose it would be worst for him than LBJ.

Slow down bruh

It's gonna be huge, probably the most watched NBA game since the Jordan era, but its only getting a fraction of a Super Bowl.
