If Celtics can't get Melo or a 3rd star I don't even want this deal to go down, unless Boston is the end all be all for Love I don't see him staying if the best we can do after him and Rondo is Jeff Green, if Ainge can get Melo then make the deal but don't send all those assets when it's not guaranteed he will stay in Boston, I'd rather keep the picks and send Rondo to LA for the 7th pick, build from the bottom with Aaron Gordon (unless Vonleh is there) and Marcus Smart, and possibly get Tj Warren at 17, but if we can get Melo and Love send Bass and Humphries to Houston for Asik, and resign Bradley then no ones fucking with us...until we see San Antonio

Houston fans think they can get a 3rd star or a lottery pick for Asik, in reality hes not that valuable and getting paid a little too much, hes disgruntled they just need to replace him and add some depth which they would be doing in that deal, y'all want one of the 9 picks we have in the next 5 years to make it look pretty aight cool, not like we would need it if we had a lineup like that, but don't act like nothing i just said couldn't become a reality when you got rumors of Bron, Wade and Bosh taking pay cuts so they can sign Melo, anything can happen and nothing I said is out of the realms

The Cleveland Cavaliers and Philadelphia 76ers have allegedly held trade discussions about the No. 1 overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, this much we know.

How deep those discussions have ventured, nobody is really sure, though it’s clear that the Cavaliers are willing to listen to offers (as they should be) and that the Philadelphia 76ers covet the first overall pick. Only problem? Moving up.

Yes, the Sixers hold the No. 3 pick in the draft and one wouldn’t assume the price tag to leap frog a pick would be that expensive, but the Cavaliers asking price is pretty high and Tom Moore of The Intell belives the rumored offer of the No. 3 pick and Thaddeus Young simply isn’t going to get the job done.

The Sixers drafted Nerlens Noel with the sixth overall pick last season, though, many believed he could have been the top overall pick had he not suffered a knee injury late in his college season.

Regardless, offering up Young and the No. 3 pick is a pretty price to pay to move up to first, let alone paring with Noel.

It should also be noted that the Sixers already owe a future first-round pick (conditional 2015 selection) as part of a previous trade, though they’ll only have to give it up next season if they make the playoffs.
