I recall some hate towards this song from GKMC

Kendrick Lamar and his TDE camp certainly have celebrations in order as well. In addition to nabbing those coveted nods for Album of the Year and Best New Artist (which has been denied to major acts like Drake and J. Cole), he also grabbed Best Rap Performance for "Swimming Pools" and Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for "Now Or Never" featuring Mary J. Blige.

Nobody knows the criteria for winning a Grammy but whatever it is I'm sure that song fits it to a t.

I feel like if Macklemore wins RAOTY over Kendrick all it's going to do is further distance him from the hip-hop community. It'll be an uphill battle for him to gain traction with black fans henceforth.

I know he's going to win something, but based on that Grammy board thread, I'd be highly surprised if he had multiple upsets in the rap categories.
