Yea I agree the problem isn't the defense it's the offense

At home Saints offense 34 ppg but on the road 17 ppg

Not to mention they stall every-time when it comes to closing the game out

Defense is legit but the offense not the same on the road this year

I really don't know what kind of standards this fan base has regarding defense when you got some fans rationalizing why it's okay and not their fault when the defense gives up 80 yard, game-winning touchdowns TWICE in one season?

Safety play has become the most important aspect for defenses in this modern game of football. Good to know we've got one for the future, but its gonna be tough to cover up the ones we have these playoffs.

Yeah so I guess it is time for the draft.

Free agents that we must keep are Jimmy Graham, Strief and maybe De La Puente. I see them letting Moore, Smith, Vilma, and Jenkins. Jenkins will not be a big contract guy but he may too expensive for the Saints.

It will almost be like having free agents with the return of Morgan and Victor Butler.

In the draft, I would like them to address potential free agent losses. Either DBs or OL. Getting a DL or OLB will be pointless with the number of reserves. Resigning Parys Haralson to me is big. He is the reason the Saints can play run at all. When he got hurt the Eagles ran wild.

I agree with the 3 safety look. Hopefully we pick up a good CB in the draft.

Jimmy still hasn't filed a grievance regarding his franchise tag and so far teams have shown that they're not bout to break the bank to get him. Something's gotta give eventually.

Jimmy gone have to man up and realize he most likely won't win that fight if he takes it to litigation. Yes he has played the role of a WR for probably 60% of the snaps he's taken...but lets not forget he lined up in the slot most of those times to...which is very common for a TE.

I think his camp knows this and its why they haven't attempted to file a grievance yet. If he was really bout it he would to like Brees did and make it known to the media BEFORE the tag was even put on he wouldn't sign it.

My thing is tho...he has to know that this year wouldn't be the yr to try to get the long term deal. We're too cash strapped and it won't be safe to restructure Brees to free up enough money until next yr. Not to mention the cap going up another 9-10mil again next offseason.

The reason we cash strap though Jane is because his franchise tender. If we signed him to a long term deal we could flex his pay and clear cap room today. Right now, I do not understand he or his agent's position when they're operating at a position of no leverage right now. They need to make up their fucking minds or Jimmy just needs to get another agent.
