The Official 2013 New Orleans Saints thread

The Saints need to get out of the gate quick. Score on the three possessions. Field goal touchdown something. I don't care if they give up a touchdown to the Panthers.

The real key is to make them go the length of the field every time. Make the Panthers earn their scores. no long runs. It may seem like the recipe for Carolina but staying in rhythm with the run and keeping the score down down should work in the Saints favor.

Corey White, Malcolm Jenkins, and Roman Harper do not need to be our secondary next season. And I'm tired of Sean Payton's finesse, pass heavy, abandon the run when it's working, high school tricks, play-calling.

This team is so physically and mentally soft (cause that's just the way Sean Payton likes his teams for some reason) I question if this team is going to even be able to show some heart and beat Tampa Bay at home next week? If we do win I betchu it's going to be by a close ass nail biter. That's how fucking soft this team is.

I'm disgusted with what happened yesterday... I just don't understand why you resort to that soft ass playcalling when all you needed was 1 fucking first down. Defense gave you 8 straight 3 & outs all you needed was 1 fucking first down to win the game and you call some pussy ass plays....

I know that last defensive drive was the exact replica of the Pats game...but like the Pats game I can't really blame them they everything they can possibly do to put them in position to win. They was on the field damn near the whole fucking game BALLIN mind you....lost our best fucking safety....and the offense aint do shit to help them at the end.

only need 1 fucking first down and the game was over......so fucking disgusting....and don't get me started on the desperate ass trick plays.....the one game where you are actually able to run the ball on a good defense and you won't do it until the whole fucking country knows you have to run it now....Mark Ingram of all fucking people was avg 8.8yds a carry before that second pick Drew threw........when Ingram actually shows the fuck up and looks like he's Alabama RB you call stupid ass plays. Its just sickening.

i was really shocked to see the amount of short passes and screen passes that was called by the saints. even before the weather got bad, it seemed they were determined to hit little 3-5 yd passes and hope that they turn into big gains (like the big play from jimmy graham) and i know that one side of the o-line was weak but they still should have taken more shots downfield against our secondary and tried to run the ball a little more to keep the line honest. but i'm glad sean called the game the way he did and hope to play this game for a 3rd time in January

Win and we're in

I like our chances fuck what y'all talking bout

The play calling in the fourth is the thing that concern me

The Pats and Panthers games we gave up the lead with less then a minute. I was impressed with us on the road those games

The Rams game we moved the ball like clock work but turnovers killed us. Seattle just killed us. Jets ran the ball and we couldn't stop them.

Our defense is top notch and gon keep us in games.

I like our chances vs the eagles/cowboys or packers/bears

Cuz the number 2 seed looking dim.

Not with Roman Harper, Malcolm Jenkins, and Corey White still being in our secondary.

Jenkins is big time

White is a good number 3 DB but injuries to P Rob and Greer hurt

But Harper is trash

Our defense been balling all year especially our secondary.

Men lie women lie numbers don't.

Either you didn't watch the game yesterday or you missed two of the biggest plays given up in the game by Malcolm Jenkins, the type of big plays he's be giving up his entire career as a Saint. That's blown coverages for big touchdowns or missed open field tackles for big long ass runs. This is routine with him. That's not big time.

So, the Carolina and New England games were the offense fault even though the defense were the one's giving up gaming winning TD's in which the opposing offense had to go 80 yards to score?

Bruh everytime the defense got them off the field, the offense would do a three and out and the defense was right back on the field, they were tired

The D did there job twice over. You give any team too many chances, they are bound to do something.

The O just had to get A first down. Just one.
