We got our ass whooped plain & simple.....until they really look at what the problem is they have on the road and fix it....I don't see us getting passed the NFCCG if we gotta play in Seattle. I still think we can go ahead and lock up that 2 seed but until we get that monkey our back with playing bad in Seattle....I just don't see it. I've never seen no shit like that happen in the Brees/Payton era and I was highly disappointed....

Shit was a total flashback of the first half of the 49ers playoff game in SF......except this time it was the entire game. Shit can't keep happening. Only positive I took away from last night was we were able to stop Lynch....

From what i saw Saints were so afraid of lettin beastmode go off the play-action roll out was there all night.....and they attacked the linebackers

I also think sticking with Gallette @ OLB after he bit on every bootleg & fake in the book was a mistake. I honestly think that was a game where starting Parys Harelson woulda been way more beneficial being the best run stopping OLB we have that's also been with the 49ers for so long he know he has to stay home & play the QB. Gallette is a pass rusher only when u play a run heavy/ option team he is not the best option cuz that's his main weakness.

The game was more of stylistic disadvantage than we thought. Even at home we have hell with them, it just seems like one of those bad matchups and was evident Monday night. If we run into them again we're gonna have to do everything possible to make it a short grind it out type of game. Pass game is gonna have to be more in the fashion of dink and dunk and take the few shots that present themselves and pray they connect.

Payton need to ditch all the personnel subbing on offense and start running no huddle to try and throw these defenses off balance. Defense just got outcoached and outplayed. Malcolm Jenkins and Curtis Lofton are liabilities in coverage.

Loved the win last night. Defense with 5 sacks (3 for Galette and 2 for Jordan).

Gave up a shitty td at the end of the game. Even when Carolina got the ball back after we punted they kinda gave up anyway with no real sense of urgency.

Defense played very well I was very impressed after coming off getting burned by a similar type QB on MNF. They contained way better and put Cam on his back. Secondary played very well even though they gave that garbage TD to Smith who was otherwise shut down all night. Junior has 9 sacks and Cam Jordan has 11.5......the last time we had anybody on the DL in double figures was 2009 with Will Smith. This DL is young and is already missing some guys from injuries. They are balling out and their only going to get better next season with CBs coming back from injury, Victor Butler coming back.....not to mention any defensive draft picks we'll get....

Brees throwing pretty much all 4 of those TDs over Mitchell was great after he ran his mouth to the media calling Brees soft. Brees went after him and that rookie White damn near every pass.

After the game I watched Trent Dilfer recap the game on ESPN and he said something I been thinking for a ver long time now that I really would like SP/Brees to take into account....especially when they play on the road. He mentioned that SP/Brees us the most extensive and intricate Kill System in the league that uses multiple plays and formations. The reason why we're so successful with it at home is because there's basically no crowd noise so Brees can communicate the calls easily. He says he think SP/Brees need to maybe not be as arrogant on the road in hostile environments and force the issue with that Kill System....run more no huddle, use more hand signals and not so many formation changes in between plays.

That's one thing that's irked me for a very long time when we go on the road we have all the tools and a QB more than capable of running the No Huddle. Yet we only seem to employ it in 2min drills, which they're one of the best if not the best at running.....so why not use this for longer stretches in the game especially on the road. It was clear in Seattle that they were trying desperately to force that kill system but if you can't hear that shit is not gonna work.

I never seen a team do so much dumb shit at the beginning of the game to beat themselves it's almost like they already conceded the fucking game before it even started. This team is fucking pretenders man, I just can't defend this pussy ass type of shit. Playing on the road is that fucking hard for a NFL team of "professionals"?

Charles Brown is who we thought he was....our 1st 2-3rds in the draft better be OL real talk. This is getting out of hand. The left side of that line is trash and the center is decent but needs way too much help from Evans in to the point where we can't effectively run the ball.

Payton is gonna have to dumb down these complicated as play calls and Max protect until they are able to fix this line. The real reason for a lot of these forced passes that turn into INTs, which from what I can see are desperation passes to Jimmy, is because he don't trust that line to save is life so he's going to the biggest guy he has throwing a prayer hoping he catches it. Drew doesn't have time, especially against pass rushes on the road, to go through his progressions to the WRs because that line is trash.

When you have to bench your LT and move you RT to LT you have a fucking problem. Loomis & Payton were too stubborn to cut they losses with Brown and pay Bushrod and now you see the result. If you would have cut most of these old ass defensive players (that aint playing cuz the on fuckin IR) when they should have been cut a long time ago we would have had the money to pay Bushrod probably even Nicks, cuz from what I know the offer they made Nicks wasn't too far off of what the Bucs gave him....you cut Will Smith sorry ass you have the rest of Nick's money right there.. Loomis & Payton may have brought this team success but they were really stubborn when it came to paying that OL that got us to a SB. Goodwin, Nicks, & Bushrod gone and replaced with trash.....

Mind boggling how a team looks completely different in other venues. But its clear where we're weak, the O-line needs to be completely overhauled. No need to worry about a WR when your QB cant get him the ball.

I think we need new receivers too. Lance Moore has been a complete disappointment this year plus he and Colston are old. And I'm just tired of the sight of Malcolm Jenkins and Roman Harper in our secondary. They need to go after this season as well. I'm also on the fence about Jahri Evans too.

Team needs:

CB, FS, OLB, C, T, WR, K

So y'all pretty much home or bust huh

Best scenario for this team is to clinch 2nd seed and pray 49ers upset seahawks at home so y'all can host nfc championship

I give Evans a pass this season tho.... He's been playing hurt all season and he's still our best Offensive Lineman. But you're right about Harper & Jenkins. And I really wanna know why Nick Toon can't get no burn when Moore & Meach have been such disappointments. I've noticed too that for some reason Brees thinks Meach is a better option for the deep ball Stills when Stills has shown he can be that guy. To me it just seems like they forcing the issue way too much with a lot these playcalls.

Nick Toon hasn't played since that stinker in New York. IMO, this team needs a young impact star wide receiver to go along with it's star tight end. I'm not feeling this by committee receiving corp shit anymore.

METAIRIE, La. -- New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton announced another bold roster move Wednesday, naming rookie Terron Armstead as the starting left tackle for Sunday's crucial road game against the Carolina Panthers.

Armstead hasn't played a snap on offense this season and has appeared in only four games on special teams. But after starter Charles Brown struggled so badly at St. Louis in Week 15, Payton said, "It's time to see what he can do."

Now we get to see what Terron can do before we enter the draft. If he performs, LT won't be such a big need going into the offseason. I wish coach would activate Rufus Johnson as well. We need to get a look at him too.

I can't get mad at that move really...you can't put Brown out there after he got Drew damn near killed last game. Armstead got way better physical talent than Brown for the position but is just raw. I hoping dude can hold up. I really liked the pick when we made it last year. Dude's a beast physically...very very quick for a OL. Think he had the fastest 40 time in for a OL NFL history at the combine. All he's ever needed was work on his technique.
