So... Athletic Bilbao dont like to play nice when it comes to selling their players. Javi Martinez and Llorente also had to force their moves out of there. If it wasnt for the legally required buyout clause for all contracts, players there can only leave once their contracts are up.

From what i'm reading, they dont negotiate, its either pay the buyout clause or nothing. If the buying club refuses to pay up, they make sure word gets out and publicly shame the player for flirting with other clubs. I heard they were trying to make Manchester United pay the VAT on the transfer as well as the required fees to Zaragosa where Herrera started out. Cold blooded shit.

Now all we need is Carrick's replacement ( rumours we are in for Strootman), a centre back, Winger and left back.

This means that Cleverley reverts back to Squad player status (unless he moves) hopefully this inspires him to improve.

Him and Mata..the creativity and link up. It's basically cheating having those two in one team.

This also has to do with the fact Bilbao only field home grown(Basque)players so its much trickier replacing them.

What's mu starting XI going to be?

De Gea

Rafael *world class cb*Jones Shaw

*Defensive mid* Herrera

Januzaj Mata Rooney

RVP

cb I hope is Hummels,Mangala,Otamedi or la porte

midfielder - Strootman, Vidal,Carvalho...heck id take Alex Song , Schneiderlin or De jong

I just hope we still play the United way and use the wide players and still be crosses in... I wanna see us still play creative through the middle, but just not neglect the wingers...

I forgot to mention Khedira and schweinsteiger.

@"water ur seeds"‌ it's all about switching it up across different attack layouts. Not just that repetitive and predictive "cross to wing and bum rush the box" I remember that game where stats showed we had whipped in 80 something crosses.(most from Valencia) We didn't even win lol If you have class wide players and of course on point target men then you might get away with it

Yeah that was under Moyes, that was an awful game... I mean like how we played under Fergie and SMB etc, United have traditionally always used wingmen, in a clever way... But clearly though like you said we still gotta be able to use different tactics...

Seaman has penned a 5 year extension at Everton.Good news for the club, he has been fantastic. They badly need more signings as they badly lack depth to compete in Europa fixtures next season.
