can we all agree that Cesc was at his best playing under Wenger?

So how can u ask why he would wanna come back?

Wenger built a club around him and let him express himself no one else will ever give him that...I bet u when his career is over he'll say he regrets leaving for barca

Players wanna win but they also wanna get paid, be happy, and have individual success

Wenger built around him but he didn't accomplish anything which is winning trophies. He was delivering at arsenal though. Countless champs league semi, captain at a young age, but he will be remembered for trophies. Barca was loaded with talent, but he did his part and won with them.

Mourinho will get the best out of him and costa at Chelsea, with a solid defense and legit defensive midfielder in willian and matic. They got the pieces where he can excel

Why do Arsenal fans think that they have something to offer a player like Cesc?

Going back to Aresnal to scrape a 4 spot and look at the FA cup for 9 months until you have to give it back is not appealing to a player that was there for 5/6 years and won nothing.

we don't want Cesc either but he would be better off at UTD than going back to work for that accountant Wenger.

Cesc can't save your wreck of a team. He played his best football under Arsenal, you lot would just end up ruining him.

lol united fans got some nerve...

And Cesc is not as good as he was when he left here thats jus a fact, so you should be asking what does he have to offer us?

In defence of Cesc he had the second highest number of assists in the La Liga this past season so he still has a lot to offer. The problem is we play a different system to the one when Cesc was still with us, it's tough seeing how he would (if he even can) fit in.

Bob Bradley: Lack of respect for U.S.

By ESPN Staff

United States midfielder Michael Bradley felt Arsenal made a mistake by signing Kim Kallstrom in January instead of him, his father, former U.S. coach Bob Bradley, told Slate.com, who said Americans are disrespected in Europe.

During the January transfer window, Arsenal were looking to add a midfielder at the same time the 26-year-old Bradley was looking to leave Roma.

The Gunners went with Kallstrom, 31, on loan from Spartak Moscow, but the Swede played just three games for the London club. Bradley, meanwhile, completed a transfer to Toronto FC of MLS.

And Bradley's father, now the manager of Stabaek in Norway, blamed Arsenal's decision on a bias among European clubs against American players.

"I think American players and coaches have to fight really hard for respect," Bob Bradley told Slate. "In January, Arsenal were looking to add a midfielder and they chose Kim Kallstrom.

"Kim Kallstrom's not a bad player, but I think Michael feels pretty strongly that he's better, and so Arsene Wenger must not feel that way, and [Arsenal chief executive] Ivan Gazidis must not feel that way.

"So sometimes, no matter what you do, you don't get the respect you think you deserve."

The younger Bradley, who has made 85 appearances for his national team, issued similar sentiments at a media event in February.

"There's no doubt that, as Americans, we continue to have to fight for respect and we have to continue to show that we have players who can play at the highest level," Michael Bradley said.

"You would have hoped that now what's gone on, whether it's in Major League Soccer or the national team or with certain individuals over the past 10, 15, 20 years would have done more for us, but the reality is that at the moment there's still a little bit of a feelidng that if you can have an American or an Argentine, they're taking an Argentine."

Arsenal currently do not have any Americans on their squad, though Germany-born Gedion Zelalem, 17, may be eligible to play for the U.S. national team.

Geezer obviously isn't good enough for us, he needs to get over it.

So you're saying arteta and flamini is better than Bradley? They about even

Yes. I know if I had to choose out of those three I wouldn't be choosing Bradley, and Arsenal obviously saw something that made them not sign him either. The geezer just sounds bitter.

Maybe arsenal FC having an American owner, he prob thought USA players should be given the opportunity, rather than all those French who basically offer nothing to the club since 2003. With exception to that trophy this year.

I agree about the French players. The French glory days are over and Wenger was fortunate to take advantage of the talent at the time, but he needs to get out that market now.

there is still talent in the French league but its def better to shop in Spain and Germany right now...

I like that Rabiot kid at PSG he could turn into a real class DM... Wouldn't mind buying and sending him on loan

He's had more success than failures so I understand why he keeps going after french players.

QPR have revived interest in Ajax striker Kolbeinn Sigthorsson. The 24-year-old Iceland international was a target for the Premier League new boys in January.

OMG, Ray Hudson is doing the Brazil-Serbia game. I don't think i can take 90 mins of this. Less than 10 minutes, and he is all up on Lazer Markovic's (who i rate) nuts.
