Messi outplayed him bad, Ronaldo was pretty much a non factor today with the exception of the PK that he drew. Di Maria, Bale, and Modric had good games.

Benzema missed more chances then messi and ronaldo put together and still scored 2 lol.

Because he was by rated by far the best player in the Premier League and one of the best in Europe (which also means in the world) during the 90's... Hes never been a player that likes the spotlight or the celebrity lifestyle, abit like Scholes so he goes abit under the radar... But he was the first original modern day 'playboy' or 'heartthrob' type player, he could of made a fortune acting like George Best or Beckham doing celebrity events and being over the paper everyday with a celebrity misses...
