England is sure showing out in front of their people with that pathetic medal count so far

And all those empty ass seats.

They're trying to blame it on corporate sponsors, but that shit don't fly. Londoners just have a deficit of fucks to give right now about this shit.

Bring this shit back to America so we can challenge Beijing's opening ceremony.... Just don't let Muhammad Ali do the bankhead bounce with the torch this time.

Yup, I think they really did put on a great opening ceremony in ATL for the 96 Olympics. Do you think its economically feasible (with state and city governments) going bankrupt or in a financial crunch, to try to host the Olympics? I think the majority of it would be paid by the taxpayers of the host city/state but I'm not sure.

damn@ the swimming team getting what they did 4 years ago right back at them.

i felt sorry for jordyn weber, nbc cameramen gave no fucks about her crying on camera.

Beijing Olympics were the best olympics in short memory imo

Dope ass opening ceremony

Redeem team got that gold medal back

Usain Bolt coming in to crush the buildings

Phelps running shit in swimming

Im not saying the london games are bad because they are entertaining me but I fear itll be light on those memorable moments. But then again its too early to tell

But I must say, I was watching table tennis today and that shit was intense. Chinese girl for USA lost though..

NBC finally responded to overwhelming criticism of its decision to heavily edit coverage of Friday's opening ceremony with an answer that satisfied neither American fans nor Olympic organizers. Claiming "our programming is tailored for our American audience," NBC spokesperson Greg Hughes defended the network's choice to replace the "Abide With Me" memorial performance with a Ryan Seacrest interview of Michael Phelps.

The segment's choreographer and visionary for the memorial to victims of London's 7/7 attacks reacted angrily at a press conference this weekend, being quoted by Reuters as having said: "Is it not accessible enough? Is it not commercial enough?"
