Kobe is taking his big men out of the game. I have not seen anything like this before. To have two post players that are capable but not use them is foolish. He is ballin but damn I don't see how gasol or bynun will get a rhythm when the uzi is cocked. This style will not work playoff time.

THANK YOU.

Everyone was creamin themselves when he was doing this in wins, but those wins were against the Suns, Cavs, and other bums, but against a playoff team, that shit won't work.

Gasol has got to do more with his possessions, he is 7'1 so he can't fall in love with the 18ft jumper, he is a PF......7/17 is a horrible % for a big man. Bynum has to get deep post position and DEMAND the ball.......for you guys whining about Kobe, he had no choice in the 3rd qtr but to go off and that the ONLY reason we kept in close in the 4th. He does need to feed Bynum and Gasol more in the 1st and the 4th tho

The main point you guys are missing is Kobe is the one and only SUPERSTAR on his team. Those other guys on the team are not franchise players. Basically, Kobe's the number 1 guy on the team, so it's his job to bail them out, and keep the offense going. Pau Gasol and Bynum rotate between the 2nd star and the 3rd star.

In the game yesterday, Kobe had to get them back in the game in the 3rd or they were going to get blown the fuck out. Let's see, Kobe shot 28 shots and made 14. Gasol shot 17 shots which is the amount of attempts what ALL 2nd star players shoot, and Bynum shot 13 shots which is the amount of attempts ALL 3rd star players shoot.

For some reason I haven't quite figured it out yet, but it seems like everyone hates when Kobe scores a lot of points. The funny thing is, when Durant does it, he's the best scorer in the league, when Rose does it, he's the MVP, and when Lebron does, he's the best player in the world. There's some ridiculous double standard going on here. Y'all act like Kobe's doing the Kevin Love and fuckin' up his team by scoring all those points. Kobe's team has a WINNING record of 9 wins and 5 losses.

Y'all acting like Kobe hasn't won 5 championships playing this way.

Bynum shot 5 times the whole second half. All I am saying is this will not work playoff time. Uzi Kobe equals first round gone fishing. Mike Brown is scared to reign in Kobe too or he a fool if he thinks this will work. If Kobe or Mike Brown don't establish the post they gone fishing. Kobe don't trust his teammates though or will not tell them to get on the block. That second half was mainly isolation basketball not even pick and roll with bynum and paul

LeBron has never gone a STRING of games taking 25+ shots EVERY game. Neither has Durant, or Rose. Especially when Kobe has two certified "All-Stars" in his frontcourt.

And let's not act like Kobe won 5 title on his dolo. It took a Top 5 center of all time, and a top 2 PF of a three-year period to get those rings. We saw what happened when he though he could win chips on his own in the after-Shaq, pre-Pau time period.

I always find it hilarious and sad that Kobe riders seemingly forget this peroid of time.

You aint watch the game. Bynum getting shots in the 2nd half dont fuckin matter. Kobe shot them back into the game. When bynum was getting his looks the lakers was gettin smashed. It aint about who scores. Its about ppl capitalizing on their opportunities when they come. That night may be kobe, the next bynum, or the next pau. The thing that matters most is consistent defense and pau not bitching up getting rebounds took from him by guards. Kobe got 42 on 50% shooting. He was the reason that game was competitive. Getting the bigs involved was irrelevant. Gunning aint a problem if you making the shots

pau gasol aint ever been a top 2 PF in his life. Nigga averaged 20ppg only twice in his career. His high is 20.8 and thats when he was the "star" of his own team. Shut that shit up. After shaq left Kobe CARRIED LA to the playoffs in the most stacked conference in NBA history with Smush Parker, Luke Walton, and Kwame Brown as starters. And right before the Gasol trade he had the Lakers as the #1 seed in that same stacked western conference. I always find it hilarious and sad that Kobe haters seemingly forget all the details of this period of time

coo coo you need to worry about the heat
we aint winning a championship. I refuse to watch another Heat game until spoelstra is fired and Lebron is traded. After they are gone i can tolerate losses cuz i know the weak links are gone and we just happened to lose to a superior team

naw they missed the playoffs the first year without Shaq I think Rudy T was coach.. They got put out by Phoenix next year. Kobe is great but he gets the liberty of being able to shoot any and evey shot..... u know mike Brown cant tell his shit. Kobe gonna average 30 plus this year

Ive seen enough already. Nothing changed from last year as far as mentality or execution in crunch time with lebron or the playcalling. And i realized he's fucking up wade's psyche. Before lebron, Wade had the mentality of "this is my team, i NEED to make the clutch plays". Now that lebron is here he's deferring to Lebron because he sees him as an equal in talent. The problem is its not in Lebron's DNA to ever be the clutch shot maker. So we will continue to fold in crunch time against the good teams that can matchup against us. Spoelstra and Lebron gotta go. Until then i wont watch another Heat game unless they play the Thunder, Bulls, Lakers, or Knicks. Ive seen enough

Lebron wont ever win a title.

Yes they missed the playoffs that year. Kobe also didnt play the entire year because he had plantar fascitis. And there is no issue with dropping 40 points every game of the year if he gone shoot 50% or more.

I watched the game on NBA TV what I am saying is obvious they try this in the playoffs it aint gone work. Yeah he got 42 pts yeah he got hot in the 3rd quarter while the rest of them was watching and yeah he was 5 for 15 in the first half. Their strength is the post you have to try to establish the post they get Bynum going his job will be so easy, especially with the lack of legit centers in the NBA. They were not playing smart at all Jordan was in foul trouble at times they had Cook in there who is not a solid defender at all. Maybe the problem is Mike Brown has no effective offensive system but if the plan is to ride Kobe 30 shots a game that aint gone work when the playoffs start.
