I have been as patient and positive as I can be. But even the most loyal of fans has to admit that there is something wrong with this club's transfer policy. The most recent Joel Campbell fiasco is but an indicator of all that is wrong with the club. The strength of the front office in in our ability to scout talent. Joel Campbell by all accounts is one of those talents. But the problem with the club is there unwillingness to pay for that talent. Before Andrey Arshavin our most pricey purchase was one Silvian Wiltord. Laughable, but true nonetheless. So we continue to evaluate players and offer them offers below market value.

The footballing world has caught on to Arsenal. Why spend the money and effort that it takes to scout players, when you can allow Arsenal to do so for you and swoop in and sign them for yourselves? Ask yourselves what happened to our supposed signing of Ricardo Alvarez? Organizations are merely using Arsenal's valuations to run up prices. We insist on long negotiating periods for players who are valued as being "essential" to the club's success, all along allowing time for other teams to get wind of out interest.Over and over again, it ends the same. Arsenal interest....stalling....another team gets involved....Arsenal misses out on another target. We have become the laughing stock of the footballing world (as far as transfer market). I will continue to support this club which I so love but Wenger and his cronies have lost the plot. It is a sad day when Arsenal can no longer secure the signatures of their targets.

Dude is not even the best American player (Dempsey>>> Donavan). The dude is ok/good, BUT some folks have the nerve to call him World Class. GIVE ME A FUCKING BREAK.

Agree with this. I kid you not, Donovan some time ago was being linked with CITY! lol smh I would rather sign Dempsey before Donovan, provided his position was a need that needed to be addressed.

Donavan doesn't have the heart to play in Europe. He did do well at Everton the couple of months he was there but Dempsey has the better game to play in Europe.

neymar is pretty much overrated......

I said this on facebook the other day. Dude definitely has skills. He's a good individual player, but not a team player and that's where fe fails. His value must have dropped considerably after the tournament.

I will say this though, he is young and with a few years maturity and proper trianing, he and Pato up front should be sick in 2014.

people nowadays live into the hype. they see a player do a few step over an ready to put them on a peddle stone. at 19, ronaldo was already brutal, scoring 47 goals total for barcelona. was on 1994 bench team, an we all no the other world cups.

Neymar is clearly over hyped and I will explain why.
The comparisons to Messi are ridiculous. I am not a huge Messi fan but when on the ball he plays toward goal and most importantly the ball sticks to his foot. Unlike alot of dribblers messi doesn't long-dribble. He keeps the ball close. Even when he rides tackles he is looking to go toward goal.
That sets him apart from alot of players. It's that ball control and forward movement that Neymar lacks. Neymar's game does not translate into goals.

Then if you were to put him in a league which doesn't cater to his offensive abilities I think he'd just be another good player with pretty dribbles.

Yeah I always hated the hype for Neymar. I hate it even more at the fact that theres gonna be another player within the next few years with the exact same playing style. Plus I Ganso is a way better player than Neymar!

i think ganso might have a better future than neymar to be honest. overall looking at the new crop of brazilian players is really sub par. i also believe this coach memenez selection is weak. as bad as it is, hulk is a decent baller, da costa is 21 and he is pretty solid, jadson need more playing time. pato as brazil #1 striker is not that strong to be honest.
