LoL @ Fabulous saying "we'll be straight when we get Chris PAul and Dwight Howard."

that's like a nigga sayin "If I was 6'9" with a Ray Allen jumpshot, Blake Griffin hops, and Gary Payton defense -- I would be in the league."

LOL @ niggas waitin on a Whole All-star roster to root for their squads.

I don't think it's D'Antoini's fault that he has two players that were known to not play defense years before they got onto the Knicks.

Let's be honest, aside from scoring, have either of the two superstars been known to be lockdown defenders?? Fact is, Knicks pulled the trigger far too early on this trade. They should have waited until the offseason to get Carmelo Anthony simply because he would have never signed that extension with Denver regardless of what he said.

They dumped 4/5 of their starting lineup, disrupting all sorts of chemistry formed since before the season began. It's kind of sad because before all of this, the Knicks fanbase had a somewhat decent team to cheer for.

carmello did not want to wait til the offseason. All he wanted was that extension,he potentially would of lost money cuz the cba expires june 30th if he waited

they had no choice but to trade for him now or he would of got traded to the nets.Winning was never a priority for melo the money was

If he got traded to the Nets, I swore he stated he wouldn't have signed an extension with them, which is why that deal wasn't done earlier this year. He said that he would have with Denver if a deal wasn't in place, but something tells me he still wouldn't have and would have bolted to the Knicks as soon as he could. And because of that, the Knicks should have waited until free agency.

before the trade deadline if the knicks aint up the ante the nets would of acquired him

he preferred new york over jersey but if the knicks aint make a deal he would of went to nj

All he wanted was the dough before this season was over, didnt really matter who he got it from

But the main problem with New Jersey and why the trigger wasn't pulled at any time was because he did not want to sign that extension. Considering what they offered, the Nuggets were fine with it, but the Nets were not because he never said he would sign that extension, and they didn't want to give all of that up for a midseason rental.

I mean either or, he still doesn't play lock down defense and is simply a great scorer paired up with another great scorer, which is killing the Knicks right now.

First Knicks game I've sat down and watched since this losing streak. Bottomline is every team that faces the Knicks right now have no respect for their defense. Teams run whatever sets they want to and get whatever shots they want to. You can give up 114 points to a bad Bobcats team and expect to win. D'antoni will be back next year but this is what's gonna get him fired at the end of the day. If the Knicks were a avg. defensive team they would be fine. But they're god awful.

After tonight, after a 20-point deficit to the Bobcats, I have to admit I am inclined to agree, that and the fact the players aren't really defensive-minded to begin with. I honestly expected them to win this game, shut the naysayers up, finish strong and I'm not even a fan of theirs.

don't be surprised if he is fired ASAP once the season ends.....Amare had already clashed with him in PHX it was only a matter of time till the wheels fell off in NYC and judging by their performance this past 2 weeks or so THEY'RE RIDING ON HUBCAPS!!!!
