Holidays haven't been the same since my uncle passed away a few years ago. Fam don't even get together anymore so I just dropped off gifts to my mom, sister and granny then was solo from there on

Had to hit up All Flavor No Grease in Watts for chicken quesadilla

And granny hooked it up with the gumbo

That gumbo looks dank as fuck. My step dad makes a sausage/chicken gumbo every christmas. Pretty good. He made a seafood gumbo one year with scallops, crawfish, crab, and shrimp that was fucking amazing but he only made it a couple times cuz seafood is expensive af up here lol

I ain't never seen a gumbo with snow crab, crawfish or scallops in it. Just throwing shit in a pot and calling it gumbo. Niggas be fucking up a good thing man.

But it's SEAFOOD gumbo tho. I've seen that particular type of gumbo made like that. Wit mussels as well added to it

A seafood gumbo made by a Louisianian typically has blue crab, shrimp and/or oysters. I don't know who is making y'alls gumbo but that ain't gumbo.

U can find them hard and soft. The hard ones u eat like any other shell fish by picking them apart, u fry the soft ones and eat them whole.
