I'm a convert bruh with only a few brothers and sisters in my city on the same thing I am. Used to go to a church, but I realized they weren't Messianic Israelites and stopped going. Now I'm pretty much observe from home and study and stuff Friday sundown to Saturday sundown. To be all the way real tho, I'm not doing it right. I'm working to get there tho.

How did you grow up in a household where an adult was a practicing Israelite and grow up to reject religion completely?

Everyone's experience is different and I know there is a difference between a child brought up and a system and an adult deciding to adopt it willingly. I'm just curious tho.

Alot of messed up stuff happened in my youth, done by some of the people claiming that shit the strongest. Shit had a hold on a few peoples minds to the point that smart people became stupid, just by invoking yahshua. Wasnt really allowed to use "gawds" name in vain. But his son is fair game. Shit just aint my thing, dont like to allow that kinda control over me.

I still respect the whole idea of if. Wont see me take the lords name in vain. I believe alot of the principles, just not wit the whole movement.

I don't know if anything I could say would change your mind. But I get where you are coming from. And that's why i be hesitant to get out here in these streets and talk to fold because i refuse to do harm to someone's spiritual growth by being a hypocrite while trying to do good. There are things i have to work on before I'm in a position to try to help someone else. I'll still allow the spirit to lead a conversation if it happens naturally, but I'm not forcing it.

Only thing i can say is don't allow someone else's flaws deter you from the spirit calling you. You say you respect the principles... Don't give up on them.
