Soccer, globally, is more popular than American sports by a wide margin, true. It still bores me.

What made you put in the effort to be good enough to get a full ride to a d1 school, if you hated playing that much?
I'm just asking because baseball isn't really a sport where sheer athleticism trumps all and you can coast by on that alone. To be an effective hitter or pitcher takes tons of practice, and nobody is handing out full rides for defensive skills. I couldn't see myself putting in all the time it takes to be good at either of those skills for something I couldn't stand

Like somebody else said, Baseball is much more fun to play than watch. I see why they call baseball fields "ball-parks" cuz going to MLB games is like going to the park -- just sitting there watching whatever happens -- even if nothing happens. lol

Golf is barely a sport. More than nascar, but barely.
