Yeah. I remember in 09 b4 BP3 came out XXL did a cover on Jay about BP3. In the interview Jay talked about how when they went up to Def Jam offices to talk business that often it would break out into a Def Jam brass (Lyles, Cohen), etc. vs Dame argument and they would basically leave w/o getting anything accomplished. Then Jay said he would have to go back to smooth things over and basically be like "What Dame meant was blah blah blah...what were trying to do is blah blah blah". They could see the strain it was causing b/w Jay & Dame & that Jay was getting tired of it.
