He got a dope live show in 2011 (technically saw him in 2010) though....he's gotten a lot better compared to what you old heads have seen back in early 00's. he's progressed in that respect at least imo.

Agreed. I saw Jay Z a couple times in concert, the first in 98, 04 and 2010 and he made great strides. His stage presence is not all that but voice control is superb. Sounds just like the album. In my opinion Jay is top 5. Sometimes I have him outside of the top ten around 6 or 7 but nothing beyond that.
