truth of the matter is, most these label execs don't sign artist; the a and r does.

Fact is that most rappers who have record labels dont really have success marketing their artists.

ex. Nas, 50, Fat Joe, Cam, Jim Jones, Nelly, Luda, Game, Beanie Sigel, Snoop, Juelz etc.

Jay had Kanye, Em had 50. T.I might have one with Dro.
