No it would not have been better. It would have been a small indication that you are a poster with half a brain and not a dim witted dick rider. There is never a Friendly discussion when one attempts to start a discussion with Absolutes or attempts to mask their opinions as facts.

It's apparent you have little education. If you do, you were certainly asleep for most of your classes. It is pointless to debate those who have made up their minds. Fruitful debates happen with open minded people. Otherwise is just arguing back and forth about nothing. It seems based on your title and your responses you want to ARGUE about nothing. Jay Z is a dope MC and all of the above that you mentioned. But he kinda fell in2 his position by chance/ fate or whatever, which was still out of his control. Im referring to Pac and Biggie being murdered so Jay could grow to the prominent MC he is today. Im not saying he wouldn't have been great if they were alive but he would've been over shadowed by two very more influential MC's who were Pac & Big. Jay would've been under Biggies umbrella cuz he respected him so much as the "nicest MC".

Regardless tho since Pac & Big are dead (which left a HUGE void in hip hop & MCs that are actually saying something) Jay did answer the call & void in Hip Hop & stepped it up so that has to be respected. He became what i think Nas should've been.... a leader in the Hip Hop community and the voice/ face/ representative/ embassador (whatever u wana call him). Nas just didnt have the drive & love for the game which i think he kinda lost with the passing of the above mentioned greats of hip hop.

BUT i must take a few points away from Jay cuz Nas got his Danger from Ray J on and SMAAAAAAASHED the homie, no homo, ha ha aaaaaaa! I wouldve paid money to see Jays face when he sat down at Rocafella Records & listened to that track, that was truely Ether. And Jay's responses, IN MY OPINION, was extremely lame & not thought out. He was in a hurry to say something/ ANYTHING back cuz Nas gave it 2 him so badly he didnt think he was gona wake Nas up in that aspect. Nas is a good MC, i used to really like him, but over the years he's fallen back so much in HIp Hop & his relevancy i have grown not to like him as much, he's like the laziest, most talented rapper around.

Well Nas killed Jay on the beef side of things & Biggie was a super great MC but he wasnt the GOAT! the man only made two albums, although they were classics he just didnt do enough to outshine Pacs work ethic & ability to reach wider audiences with relevant topics & subject matter. Dont get me wrong Biggie was definitely the shit. But Pac was the ALL AROUND MC, the complete package, he was a Rappers/ Rapper and about as real as they can get with the fake ass Hip hop scence we have now, it may as well be the NWO wrestling, at this point, LOL.

My mind is wide open my dude. That's why we need better discussions about Hip Hop. I typed early on that it's NOT you. There are an azz load of Posters making Juvenile threads. There is much to be gained by coming to these boards if, they are managed properly. History can be learned. Friendships can be made. New Music can be discovered, Political ideas could be shared. Open your mind to the possibilities. I know it's wishful thinking as we see time and time again good threads fall by the waist side. Only see pointless threads continue on and on.
